My family has tried them twice in past couple months and the food has not been in the past. Shrimp and hush puppies fried so hard you can't eat them, fried orka wasn't drained so it was full of gease to the point you feel it on your tongue. Catfish was edible but very small in size and didn't taste like catfish, heck no favor at all. Don't order delivery and have an issue because the food has to be returned back to the restaurant for a refund. The point of delivery is not having or being able to leave the home!We had ordered pizza and cheese bread before and the pizza wasn't cooked all the way.
Just take a look at this monster calzone that was only 13.75!!! Papa Louie’s never fails to make some good food at an affordable price.

I just don’t understand the bad reviews…I ordered delivery on a Tuesday around 7:00. Quoted 45-60 minutes and that was accurate. My husband loved his cheese burger and fries, he said it was juicy! I got 3 chicken strips which are actually huge cutlets it came with 3 big fluffy biscuits (just like homemade) and picked mashed potatoes and potato salad as my sides. Our meal came with lots of napkins, silverware, ketchup, salt and pepper, whipped butter etc. We were very well taken care of. The delivery driver was extremely polite. We took them up on their free delivery! DoorDash up charges and I’d rather support the small business. I was extremely impressed with the service and quality.

Ordered a calzone some wings and a salad. The salad was average no croutons or onions. Wings were soggy but cooked well with ok flavor.The calzone was not a calzone it's more like stuffed cheese bread. Not impressed at all.Will give it one more try to try and say something else positive but for now I received friendly service with fast delivery.
