We were in Lawton for son’s BCT graduation back in October and thought it would be fun to get some “home cooking” after the ceremony. LET. ME. TELL. YOU!! Yum Yum Box was *beyond perfect! Don’t let the humble location/decor fool you, these ladies *know what they’re doing in the kitchen and could *not have been sweeter or more accommodating! The fish, sides, sauces, and sweet tea are as authentic as can be, seasoned to perfection, and generously portioned. If you’ve been snoozing on this awesome little hole-in-the-wall, wake up and treat yourself soon. Five stars, zero regrets 😊

This was my first time in Oklahoma and I’m sad I waited until my last day here to visit this WONDERFUL Black Women-Owned restaurant!! The customer service here was impeccable and the food was absolutely amazing!!! They definitely satisfied my pregnant belly!! Even tho we came 20 minutes to closing they still let us in and made anything that we ordered as long as it was still available!! To anyone who lives in Oklahoma I definitely recommend this place!! 10/10 experience!!!

The pork chops I've had the fish I've had the meatloaf and the Delta burger (get you a Delta burger!!) all delicious....but man on man I got that sweet potato fried chicken the other week and was blown away!!! the fried green tomatoes and the collard greens set it off even more!!
The cobbler is also a must when I go

Goodness gracious the Yum Yum Box brought the soul to Lawton Oklahoma. I'm here from North Carolina and I'm now kicking myself that I just discovered this restaurant on my last day here. This is momma's home cooking at its finest. Best meal I have had in Lawton by far. Juicy and crispy fried chicken, decadent Mac and cheese, and green beans made to perfection. This isn't a soul food meat n three it's culinary heaven on earth. If I could manage it, I would have eaten two or three plates. If I am ever back in Lawton I will eat here again for sure. This hands down was the best meal I've had at a restaurant this year. If you haven't eaten at the yum yum box, you aren't living.
