Next time we’re staying to have the buffet. The chicken fried steak sandwiches were perfect food for the ride back home. And my dog enjoyed the chicken I got him from the buffet 😃

Charming restaurant with country cottage vibe and decor! Food was delicious and my picky eater even loved it. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Bonus it has a great little shop.

County Cottage Buffet is comfort food at its finest. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, the chicken fried steak is tender and smothered in rich gravy, and the hand-mashed potatoes are buttery and smooth. The fresh bread is warm, soft, and absolutely addictive. Every bite tastes homemade, and the buffet is always stocked and fresh. If you’re craving classic Southern cooking done right, this place hits the spot.

We have been here several times at all different times of the day & the food is always reliable. No matter what time of day, it’s fresh, hot, and always delicious.
The buffet offers a variety of homemade foods, from a full fresh salad bar, to homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, fried chicken & chicken fried steak to deliciously seasoned vegetables & a vast array of desserts. Basically everyone can find something they will enjoy.
The service has always been top notch, always happy and ready with fresh plates and drink refills.
We specifically drove 2 hours today just to have dinner.
Also, the gift shop is so cute & usually has things I MUST take home with me.
We will definitely be back.

Definitely one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. The staff is very kind and friendly. Very fresh salad, with several types of vegetable dishes to choose from (nice they offer different type food each day, Mexican choices on Friday is something not offered at typical family buffets). And of course the dessert bar was wonderful!The facility was spotless, and the management is very conscious of small details not typically recognized. WHAT A TREAT TO EAT HERE!!

WOW! I mean WOW! Did I mention WOW!!! This restaurant takes food to a completely different level! I had the pleasure of having them cater 3 different meals for me and every single one was more mind blowing than the last! The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are out of this world, and it feels like you are at Sunday dinner with the family with every single bite! Not only was the food amazing, don’t get me started on the service and genuine hospitality that Cyndi and her outstanding staff provide! Within in 5 seconds of meeting them I already felt like family! If you are looking for the absolute best I recommend you get to Country Cottage as fast as possible!!!

Take a trip to the country and enjoy a nostalgic journey! Country Cottage features home cooking, the best fried chicken-every piece, moist and juicy-never dry. I do wish the green beans were cooked and flavored in bacon grease, they taste steamed and are not down home in flavor-the only negative I have to say. The iced tea is also perfection! The employees are so friendly, the gift shop has caught my pocketbook a few times with their quality products and specialty items like tallow and nicely scented wax warmers, reasonably priced. A great place to take your family or a trip down memory lane to grandma's house.

The Country Cottage Restaurant has top-notch quality food in all types of styles. From street tacos to eloquent grilled chicken and roasted veggies and potatoes, to desserts that will have you questioning if you have died and gone to heaven! We had them cater our Company Retreat, and they provided a tremendous spread for all of our team. Hands down some of the best food I have had since my grandmother used to make me homemade chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with some good ol country gravy over the top of it all with some green beans cooked in bacon grease!!🤌🏼

If you're ever in the quaint little town of Locust Grove, go in and say hi to Cyndi, Billie, and Ken!! They will have you reminiscing and craving for a good old-fashioned home-cooked meal that just melts in your mouth, makes you want to loosen up your belt buckle, and go into a food coma because the food is that good!!

Wow. Two works. Fried chicken! Wait. I have more words. The mac and cheese. So good! I don’t usually eat green beans but the green beans were amazing! I don’t know what they put in the food but it was so good! If you’re in the area and need a place for a filling, tasty, and well priced lunch/dinner, this is the spot! This is the talk of the town. My friend, Dawntei, was so greedy and he took so much of the food. So they brought us more!!! Love it!

Delicious food. I had a few meals over a couple days. The street tacos are amazing. They had a green salsa which was spectacular. The also have a fried chicken which is to die for.
