The lodge was nice, but if we ever go back, we'll probably just avoid the restaurant. I posted a review of the park as a whole, so I won't repeat everything here.
Very beautiful location and views.
Rooms: Nice and clean .

Wonderful lodge with great views and several short, but wonderful trails just steps away from the door. The sunrise trail was a short loop and had deer and other wildlife. Would be a nice trial with kids and the views from the top are nice. The twin peaks trail is paved, one mile out and back trail with some great views! The food at The Lookout restaurant was great! Especially the pizza. We had India food one night and it was well prepared and delicious!

This is more for the guy who helped us, we came out to take our family pictures, and got a screw in the tire along the way. AAA was going to be 3-4 hours, and Logan took a moment and helped us change the tire. Huge Thank you.

We have stayed at the lodge for years now and always love our stay. With the renovations they made lately it’s an even more enjoyable stay! There is truly nothing like it in Oklahoma and it’s only 2 hours from okc. Beautiful rooms nestled in the Oklahoma mountains with lots of wildlife, a tasty eatery, and things to do make the lodge one of a kind!

Beautiful place! We enjoyed a two night stay and were very impressed with the lodge. The courtyard is beautiful—we loved the little outdoor activities they offered like yard chess, shuffleboard, and cornhole. The outdoor seating was really nice. We woke up both mornings and enjoyed our balcony, watching the wildlife and taking in the view of the lake.
My only two suggestions would be to add trailer parking (this was not a problem because the lodge was pretty empty but could have been with a full house). And to step up the coffee game either in room or with a good quality coffee in the lodge lobby or the restaurant.
We love our Oklahoma State Parks.

Didn't stay there only hiked around it. Beautiful area except for the rattlesnake!
This place is a hidden gem in Oklahoma! We love it here. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is great too. You can’t beat the hikes and views!

Spent a week here. Restaurant onsite not open on mondays and Tuesdays i believe soPlan ahead. It is a secluded lodging but beautiful to watch sunrise and sunset. Walk around when the weather permits. It is quiet during the weekdays so wont be a bad idea for a couple who just want to have the lodge to themselves. Fire pits outside. Lakeview was nice. You would drive 30-40mins for food if the restaurant is close. Becareful when driving because there are deers etc. It is definitely a place to be in tune with nature and away from technology. I had no issues with my service.

The staff are friendly, caring, and helpful. I stepped off the cub and fell and have been very well cared for. It was totally my fault, and everyone has been helpful and caring above and beyond normal.Dinner was fantastic!
