Nice place for the plains of Oklahoma!
The cable was down but that’s okay we never really needed it cause we just enjoyed our time hiking (when it wasn’t raining) and hanging out together. Loved it. A bit pricey but worth it if you’re not into camping
It's a great place to stay. Love the rooms. Restaurant is good also.
Clean room, comfy bed, friendly service, and a beautiful lake view. Inside the state park, perfect for lake days AND getting a good night's sleep afterward. The pool looked fine but we did not use it.
The folks that work at the Lodge are incredibly nice and helpful. I had made an error in booking and they wee really helpful and considerate. We were there for a wedding, virtually everyone that I talked to said they wished they had another 1 - 3 days. We stayed in a cabin on the water. Sunrise phot is from the porch, the night photo is from the lodge.
A special thank you to Geeta at the checking for making everything right. We appreciate you!
The restaurant folks are understaffed until May. They were trying very hard, need more help.
Rather expensive but beautiful area, should have restaurant open 7 days, only 5
VERY nice rooms and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! We definitely enjoyed our time there and will be back in a heartbeat.
Just went here to eat, we didnt stay the night. Food was great and the view was awesome!
It's a drive for most but worth the effort.
Great state park. Cabins are old and in need of renovation. They're not stocked with any dishes, cutlery, or cookware. Blinds are old with some slats missing. Cabin in general was not very clean or well kept. Maybe the lodge is better since it's been renovated recently. Location is absolutely awesome! Wouldn't recommend the cabins, unfortunately. For one weekend night, with taxes and fees, it's almost $200/night. The current rates are not reasonable for the condition the cabins are in and the lack of amenities. They charge a 3% convenience fee for using a credit card.
P.S. Make sure you get a parking pass for each vehicle. The parking enforcement crew takes things very seriously.
Beautiful place!
We had our wedding at the lodge last fall and the gals that helped with all the coordinating- Ashley and Tully were both AMAZING!!!! They were so unbelievably helpful with everything leading up to our wedding day and truly went above and beyond throughout the whole process and the day of. If you are looking for a wedding venue or just a place to stay for a few days, I cannot recommend the lodge enough. Everyone was so kind and helpful and it is stunning on top of it all. I could write a book. I am a wedding photographer myself and would recommend this place to any bride looking for a bit of a non-traditional venue that still has all of the amazing amenities a traditional venue would have. I am so glad we decided to have our wedding here, it was truly such a blessing!
Great area! The rooms in the lodge were beautiful however when they say “kitchenette” they only provide the minimum (fridge, microwave, keurig) there are no plates, silverware, cutting boards, etc.. The hiking here is phenomenal with lots of great wildlife and beautiful views!
Very beautiful place wonderful views but extremely conservative. It has so much potential to be super neat but they don't seem to want that vibe. It has an incredible outside stage but they don't bring in any good music or offer much as far as entertaining.
Always seem to have liquor license issues so getting a drink or beer is very inconsistent.
Too bad because it could be an amazing place.
Ohhhh we'll be back for sure
