What a gem. From out of town and just happened to pop in for a late lunch. The patio was a fantastic place for a quick bite and do some work. We had the brisket baked potato and chips with salsa. Great food, atmosphere and service.

The BBQ sauce is not my favorite but the meat is delicious and the green spaghetti is to die for!! Loved the live music they had and the fun atmosphere

THEY CATERED FOOD TO THE BANK SPRING BARBEQUE AND THE BRISKET WAS DRY ..NO B.B QUE SAUCE PUT ON!!! THERE WAS NO POTATO SALAD OR PEACH COBBLER OR COFFEE!!! SEVERAL OF US WERE VERY DISSAPPOINTED AND THE COLESLAW WASNT FIT TO EAT!!! IT WAS NOT SHREDDED NOR GROUND...GREAT BIG HUNKS OF CABBAGE!!!! THE APPLE PIE WAS DOUGH NOT HALF COOKED!!!!!! GET A CHEF THAT KNOWS HOW TO COOK!!!!

I was passing through Madill OK from a funeral at lunchtime on a Friday and decided to try this BBQ restaurant. So glad I did. I ordered the two meat platter with two sides. The sliced brisket was smokey tender and the ribs were right in the sweet spot, I could easily eat them in hand right off the bone. I sampled the sauces on the table on both meats. The fries were hot and crispy. They were just right and I ate them quickly. The pinto beans came in a cup which kept them warm longer. I was able to savor them that way and they were quite tasty. Overall the meal was great. My server was a college student and we had some pleasant conversation as she brought my food. As I was leaving I was offered a refill on my sweet tea and that capped off my experience. I would definitely go back and I recommend The Backside to anyone passing through Madill on their way to the Oklahoma side of Lake Texoma. Great food great service.

The food was great. Beer was cold. Atmosphere and service were wonderful. Definitely recommend. We had the Elote Corn with brisket, Green Spaghetti, Brisket and jalepeno sausage.

Well most of the time them texans can make some damn good BBQ, but now you don't have to drive down there. The Backside here in Madill America has them all beat awesome BBQ and the best sides too...
