This place is a meat market that also makes sandwiches. The meat is yummy. We stopped because we saw the ham sandwich signs on the interstate. The sandwich was really good. It is worth stopping here.

For the past two and half years, this is were stopped on our trips to Dallas. Well, TODAY was the LAST time ever stopping here spending my hard earned money. Three people were working, a white guy, Hispanic lady, and a white lady. The white lady apparently does not like black people, especially black men. The white guy, was polite as always, had to tell her to get off her phone and prepare our sandwiches, but being on her phone seemed of high importance to her. While preparing our sandwiches, she was making remarks under her breath and such. As we were leaving my brother told her Happy New Year and she responded, “You have a poopy new year.” The Hispanic lady looked with disbelief. So, we will NEVER patronize this business ever again due to the racist encounter we had today. Good riddance.

I stopped here on the off chance that they would have old-fashioned ham salad like Mom used to make but they don't. But I did get a ham sandwich on white bread and it really hit the spot. 6.99 and fairly thick with ham & one slice of cheese. I wish I'd asked him to put mustard on it but the ham is so good It was fine without the mustard. I wish I'd bought some ham to make my own sandwiches later.

❗The sandwiches are a way to taste the meats. Y'all don't understand. They sell high quality meats. For under $10 I ate a meal of a sandwich, soda, and sausage biscuit. Next time I'll get me some sliced ham, sausage, and jerky. They all tasted great. My favorite was the sausage biscuit which I'll order more of next time since it was slider size. They showed me the size and I was just sampling so I got one. Friendly staff answered all my questions. Don't write a bad review because you don't understand their business model. Take care.
I don’t know how the locals are here with handling food but when a customer asks for GLOVES and you tell oh that’s how we do it, we use germex before we make it. No mam I got two turkey breast n tea lemonade mix by the way but threw it out. I couldn’t do it because you’re improperly handling food. Imagine me putting my entire hand over the contents of your food then hand it to you
