We were camping and fishing at Arrowhead State Park and have been looking for an Indian Taco since we arrived. Some places served them on Tuesday and others on Friday so we were happy to find Dawn's served them everyday. We both ordered an Indian Taco and received a generous portion. I had the lunch size chicken fried steak. Everything about the meal was excellent. It was a large portion, very tasty and price was good. Service was super and I will definitely return when I return to McAlister!
Food was good home cooking. Dawn's advertises service with "an attitude". I agree the servers have attitude, but there isn't much in the way of service. Spends more time on their phones than taking care of customers.
