El Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Bar Mcalester

My son and I got the polo McAlester yesterday and we shared 1 dinner last night, we both ended up with diarrhea today. I've have had that food before and never had a problem with the food. I don't know what is going on with your restaurant, my son is Mexican and he can usually eat any type of Mexican food and it doesn't bother him but it did this time. I don't know if I will ordering anything from your place again. I might check with the BBB to see if there has been any other complaints concerning your food.

Horrible food. The salsa literally looked and tasted like tomato sauce. The fajitas were overcooked and charred and the rice was cold. Also feeling sick after eating here. Not quite sure how this restaurant is even in business..

Big, flavorful burrito!
Stopped in on our way home to Missouri from Texas. The place was very busy, but we were sat quickly. Waiter didn't speak much English but he got the orders right. Food was hot and good.
The prices were also very pleasing!

This place is definitely a reflection of the city of McAlester and that is garbage. Tries this place three different times and all three times I didnt finish the meal. The service was bad but the food was worst. Ive had better mexican food from a microwave. Never again I think wasting money three times is enough to know that place just sucks.

We stopped in yesterday, on our way home. To be honest, I read the reviews of all mexican food resturants but I chose them because they have a bar area with multiple TVs. We wanted to watch the Texas-Michigan game while we ate. We were the only ones in there, they let us. I had a mango margarita with a request on Don Julio and it was excellent. The food was very good. The salsa wasn't spicy enough, I requested some spicy salsa and they brought us some. It is very hot, but had great flavor. We mix ours with the regular. The food was good, the service and drink, great. It was very affordable. We will stop in again.

The margaritas were excellent! The food was authentic fresh delicious! Would definitely come back again.

A bottle of bleach fell on me in the bathroom and destroyed my jacket I didn’t want to make a scene because it was my friend’s birthday dinner and so I called back up and told them what happened and they said sorry and hung up on me after I told them the price of the jacket

We recently dined at this restaurant and were impressed with the friendly host. Although we asked to move tables due to a flickering light, our server was happy to accommodate us. We ordered the fajitas and whole tilapia, which exceeded our expectations. The fish was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy underneath the skin, without any fishy smell.

As I'm not typically a fan of Mexican food, I'm thrilled to have discovered this restaurant. The quality and flavor have changed my mind, and I can't wait to return.
