This is a nice little restaurant right by the river. The prices are a little steep for the type of food it is, but everything we had was pretty good.

Visited the Riverside Cafe this weekend. I was told that the best fried catfish in Lawton was here. After sitting on the deck at first, with its amazing view of the river and the bridge, we moved inside where our server Lacy took excellent care of us. The catfish was crunchy and tasty, while the grilled honeybun was addictive. All the side dishes were also satisfying. I also enjoyed the tree growing through the dining room.
I've lived in Lawton 17 years and just recently discovered this place. It's become a family favorite. I do have 2 complaints... Appetizer portions are very small (except the nachos), and they don't serve mashed potatoes which just makes absolutely no sense to me. But everything else is so dang good!

Every time we go to Medicine Park from Wichita Falls we always eat there. Last week we were that and had a to go container and my phone was on the table. We went to the restroom and were go for about 2 minutes and when we came back they threw our food away and put my phone at the cash register. I thought that they would make I to us by giving us something like voucher for half off next time we came there but wasn't offer anything. Even thought that happened we will still go back there because its our favorite place to eat.

It's a cute little local place. Great, friendly service people, wonderful food, where people actually smile at you. They even give the kids white boads and markers to draw while you wait for your food. Excellent hash browns...and a fair price too! Highly recommend. I had the hamburger steak, hash browns, two eggs over easy and toast. Everything was excellent.Kid-friendliness: They have white boards and markers to entertain the kids.

We ended up at this restaurant after hiking Mountain Scott earlier in the day. They had a really nice patio and allowed us to bring our dog to sit outside which was helpful. The service was really good and so was the food. The burgers were delicious and the fried okra was legit and tasted homemade! It was a beautiful day so sitting on the patio next to the river was super nice. If you're down here visiting I recommend eating here!

I most recently had the Bama Bird Sandwich and it was very tasty. The wife and I have gotten at least half of the sandwiches on the menu and we haven’t been disappointed one time. The service is just as good as the food. The atmosphere gives you some quiet privacy and you can see plenty of turtles swimming around if you get a seat looking out into the water. Do not miss out on this hidden gem!
