Came to spend the day and was very pleasantly surprised with our meal at the old plantation. Jennifer, our server, was very tentative, answered our questions and even provided some history.Husband ordered the fried catfish sandwich in a side salad and I got a salad with salmon.Everything was seasoned very well and homemade ranch dressing was very tasty. I would come back again.

Sign on door prohibits outside beverages. They have a young girl as Hostess. When I refused to give my phone number to receive an unnecessary text message just to inform me that my table is ready, she was obviously perturbed. She seated those who came after me; so, I inquired if I was still going to be seated. She repeatedly kept telling me that I have to wait over on the far side of the building when everyone else had been standing near her as I was. I finally just went to eat at the bar. Steak has seasoning, but still bland, & it gave me digestive issues. Baked potatoes are cooked in aluminum foil and there was a black eye inside mine.

Absolutely horrible waitress Dena Roloff! This is the 2nd time that she tracked me down when visiting and wanting to argue with me about what I can and what I can’t do with my service dog. I WILL NEVER EVER go back!!

Pork chop dinner was fantastic. Big enough to feed both of us completely! We sat at the bar top to avoid a long wait and the bartender was killing it. She was a backup and on the tail end of a 12 hr shift but took care of us with a great attitude and personality.

My dinner (chicken fried steak) was fantastic! My family had burgers, they said,"lacked seasoning".. fries were good & seasoned. It was a cool place, it had lots of seating, however seating wasn't utilized . We waited over 30 minutes to be seated, when there were empty tables and booths. A lot of money walked out and went to other restaurants. It would be great if they had another cook & a couple of waitresses.

First visit 3/23/24 ☆☆☆☆☆ What a fun spot. The food was excellent. Our server was attentive but not overly. I had the fried green tomatos, pork chops, baked potato and side salad. My friend had the ribeye, baked potato and salad. The kids both had the kids cheeseburger and fries. Not a single bad item. My pork chops were wonderful, you get two. I was only able to eat one, took the other one home. Definitely recommend.
