where do i start? The burger is at best a 6 out of 10..they use no seasoning at all..its a shame because it could have been so much better..its not bad but its not even close to being great..if you are in the area you really have no other choice but this place..its a good experience just seeing it but dont expect a great burger. Do not believe these 5 star reviews..theyve never had a great burger.

Cash only!! They do have an atm but it was down when I went. I was charged over $30 for 'tip' which I guess was gratuity. They were very short handed, using paper plates and we didn't get a refil on drinks nor did the waitress come around and check on us. 6 kids and 3 adults was $200. Fries are sold separate from burgers and the menu online is outdated. Seismic burgers are 17.95.

Sadly meers has lost all its charm and what made it special. My family used to go out here all the time for big family meet ups. The food used to be great, and come out hot and fresh. The service was always amazing even though they were always packed, and the atmosphere was charming. But now... Well idk if they are under new management or they have simply gave up caring but they have cut their menu down to basic sandwiches that we could get anywhere else, there's no more ribs or BBQ menu options, no more fresh bread (their rolls are frozen and I can buy the same ones from Walmart) the service was horrible... I was gonna order cobbler but couldn't even get my waitress to come by the table for about 45 mins and there were only 6-7 tables active with maybe 3-5 people each... They brought out the food separately feeding myself and my husband before our three kids... They didn't have enough silverware cleaned because they had a dishwasher go home early, and started serving us on paper plates... Not to mention when our waitress brought the food she placed it in front of our 1 year old over and over again... Not to mention the horrible cleaniness of the place now ... I get that it's supposed to look rustic but there were ceiling parts that were crumbling in, the floor was caving in behind our table and the dust! So much dust and dirt hanging above us. Truthfully reminded me of a bad episode of kitchen nightmare.... The owner needs to get this place back into shape because this is heartbreaking to see the once great meers fall to this. Till then I will not be returning.

Cozy rustic place to eat when you visit Mount Scott and wildlife refuge. Great service. Enjoyed the Meers burger. Didn't have room for their popular cobbler. Only drawback is cash only. Took my now girlfriend there on a date and my debit card was denied by their ATM bc of fraud alert by my bank since I was traveling from out of town. Girlfriend had to pay ๐Ÿ˜… but I still got the girl ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

It has been over 10 years since we have been to Meers.
We got the big burger; $17.00 meat was okay; they didn't toast the buns. My bottom bun was soggy French fries were $4.50. You get more fries with McDonalds small fries. Onion rings $5 50. There were 6 small onion rings with very little onion, mostly batter. We will not go back. Years ago, it was a good place to eat

Arrived at 320 on Sunday. Website says open til 4. Door said Closed.
Hours on door say closes at 4 on Sunday, last seating at 15 minutes til closing. I guess driving 2 hours is not worth it.

Well it's unfortunate that I have to make this review because this restaurant was nostalgia for me. The server was kind and attentive. Although the restaurant was dead they sat a family right next to ours considering we're in a really bad Flu season in the state, not a big deal though. My wife and I ordered the traditional Meers burger and basket of fries and my daughter ordered a kids cheese burger. The burger was cold, bland and very disappointing considering this is the place where you come to get an iconic longhorn burger, not today. No issues with my daughters burger, fries were cold and tasteless. Fortunately I was able to get a delicious mouthwatering burger! Just not here. ๐Ÿ˜”

I was there in 2006, and they were terrible. The waitress kept looking at me and never came back to my table again. I promised I will never go to that crap place again.

The owner has a funky ass attitude but other than that I can definitely live on that

I'll start with the good stuff .. service was quick and very friendly. The thermostat said 61* -its Jan and 30* outside but we never warmed up, wore coats and shivered through lunch. Burgers came out on a cold pie tin, and the buns he'd not been toasted or even warmed... So all good cold in minutes. Table of two, over $50 out the door for two burgers, side and a drink. I'm local and proud of the history but can't see when I'll be interested in a return visit.

Seismic burger was pricey but for 16oz might be fair (not sure if it was actually 16oz!). Fries were nothing special. Service was great and interior vibe is unique.

Been there before and the food was good. Stopped this time and the door was locked well before their posted hours. Called them and they answered only to tell me it was slow so they closed. Told them I drove and hour and a half and was told they were sorry.
