First the server put my order in wrong, which I'm not mad about ahit happens.. but she wouldn't have got wrong if she had just written it down instead of trying to memorize our full order. When I finally got my order "cinnamon bun french toast" I took one bite and about threw up from the taste of freezer burn. My eggs and hashbrowns had no seasoning but thankfully there's salt and pepper on the table. At the end of the day I don't like to complain so I just tried to eat what I could,chop up the rest to look like I ate a bit, paid and left. Save your money don't go here

We went to this Black Bear Diner on a Saturday evening (a little before 6p) with a party of 10, and we split the check 3 ways. I was actually a little excited that this place was chosen because I had happy memories from other Black Bear Diners in the past.The service was slow and sporadic, but our server was covering most of the floor herself. We only saw one other server, and the restaurant was pretty full by the time we left (around 8p). The food choices were hit and miss with some liking and some disliking their choices, and the only real negative was the slow service. The kids did not get the desserts promised with their meals, and I did not make the effort to order pie. Whenever the check came, I thankfully had the cash on hand to pay and leave.They appeared to be short-staffed on the night that we were there, and I hope to have another chance to visit Black Bear and to make better memories.

Loved the huge portions. Service was fantastic.We met up with a sister and a navy friend. We talked for an hour. Never once did we feel rushed to get out!
Very thoroughly ran establishment. The expo as busy as he was still was very sociable with the guest at the counter top. Every server stopped to say hi and how I was today. The guest that set next to was just as sociable. I will definitely come back for the atmosphere. The food was fairly quick coming out for this place was extremely busy. The food was pretty good. Frank and Brady were the managers on duty and went out of their way to make sure every guest felt welcomed. Kris my server today was awesome she was trying to get me to smile and laugh at every trip to check on me.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options and vegan options. Meatless patties and actual veggies.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly for all ages, from newborns to your 80 year old grand parents.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has ample wheelchair access and is ADA compliant.

Was very disappointed on tonight's dinner. My mashed potatoes and my turkey were cold. Had to send it back to be warmed up. For some reason the turkey had a wild game taste and was not very tender. Will not choose that item again. My son's chicken tenders were also not hot. Needless to say we left most of our dinner on the table. This was not what I expected from this restaurant.

Nice place to come eat if you are staying in the hotels nearby. Chicken fried steak was cooked really well and tasted good but the hash browns were not cooked all the way. The side of grits were basically water. The biscuits were large but definitely had better.

Final Goodbye To The Nasty Bastard
Yesterday was the 1st time I heard of this diner, so my son and I ate there today. I really liked everything thing about it. The cheeseburger ? was really good; it was just the right size of meat; not too big or small. The inside had a great atmosphere and our waitress was really awesome!! As we were checking out, I told the cashier that I've never heard of or seen it before. Then he gave me a pie or cake of my choice so I accepted a chocolate cream pie. I'm looking forward to eating it!! Great value for the price, too!! Thank you for the pie!!
The service was very slow, the lady mgr I think came out and was yelling at the server's. Really chewed out a male server in front of the customers. Food was excellent, our server was nice but hardly ever came back, getting our meal and dessert took forever and they weren't busy we got there before dinner rush. We will go back and give it another try. The food was delicious.

The breakfast is the best around... Friendly staff, our waitress Lorie was supersweet, and as kind as you can be, she was on point with everything!! and me and my family will be coming coming here at lease twice a week, but only on the days that Lorie is our server... She completely won us over... Thank you Black Bear for Lorie and the service she provided!! Great place!!
