There’s something about the lively atmosphere that tells you you’re about to enjoy some authentic Mexican food. Tamales are tough to do well, and Alfredo’s dos ‘em perfectly! Giant cocktails and zippy service too!

First time here, and this is genuinely the worst food (not just Mexican food) that I’ve had since moving to Oklahoma. Our order came out literally 5 minutes after we ordered. The refried beans were from a can and you can’t convince me otherwise. The birria taco consome was so salty I spit out my food and the meat itself was dry and tasted like the frozen precooked meat you can get at Walmart. The ground beef taco meat was like baby food and tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge or freezer for a while. The tamale legitimately tastes like the smell of a tire shop. Everything came out so fast and so incredibly hot that there is no way it wasn’t microwaved. I’m like the chillest person ever, but holy cow I’ve never had food that was that bad and obvious it was microwaved. When I asked what kind of meat options they had for the enchiladas they said “kind of shredded chicken” there was absolutely no way it was anything but soggy canned chicken. The only plus side was that the waitress was nice.

Ordered a chile relleno, it came out very quickly (worrisome because all 4 plates of food came out less than 5min from ordering. seeming like they had the food frozen or prepped and waiting to go for who knows how long.) Anyway, the food comes out, first bite and both my mother’s & mine chile relleno was acidic. a sign that it was going BAD. we sent it back and i asked for steak fajitas, of course it comes out in less than 5 minutes and they gave me chicken. I didn’t bother sending it back. Anyway, nice people— terrible food.

I like the food here. Soup could be hotter when it won't even melt the chesse there avocados need to be fresher. They tend come out with old ones. I like the older severs. They do great. But the younger servers don't seem to care. Not very attentive not always willing to fix something if it was wrong.

Edit: came back a year later and it’s still bland, mediocre and forgettable.
