We got there about 4:15 but were asked to wait for them to clean a table, even though empty, clean tables were plentiful. The salsa looked and tasted like watery, pureed tomatoes and any heat or flavor beyond that was almost undetectable. The cheese dip was also very thin and lacked character. The best thing about the beef enchiladas with chili sauce, rice, and beans was the presentation; they were also relatively devoid of flavor. Service was pretty good, and the restaurant appeared...

I had dinner at Alfredo’s last night for the first time in several years, and I was genuinely excited to go. On the way there, I talked it up to my friend, remembering how good the food used to be.

Unfortunately, we were both very disappointed.

I ordered the fajita beef enchilada dinner. While the food had texture, it had virtually no flavor. The fajita meat tasted like nothing more than plain beef—no seasoning and no hint of fajita flavor...

So last week I came to Alfredo's Mexican Cafe. 1st time trying the restaurant. I was very underwhelmed by the presentation of the food. The service was decent. I got the fajita combo platter. The platter was not hot at all. The only veggies I got were onions. I got Mexican rice and charro beans. Boy did they drop the ball. Rice bland and basic. Beans very watery and gritty. The salsa, tortillas and the sopapilla were the best part of the meal. We have to do better boys and...
