Crimson Melt "Best Sandwich in Town"

Liked the atmosphere. Service was decent. Ordered the athlete, the shift fridge, and steam engine. Sandwiches tasted like ?. Smoke gouda mac and cheese bites were delicious with buffalo ranch for the dipping sauce. Fries were pretty good. Will not be back.

Great food and great place. I assumed it was a chain with how nice it was, can definitely tell the owner invests in the place and it’s kept up. Also one of the nicest bathrooms if not the nicest i’ve used in a dining establishment. Sandwiches were great and will be back to try the ice cream and cheesecakes

Food came out hot, fast, and was filling. Service was on point and owner and staff were extremely friendly. The decor hits with pride in service to our nation and local communities with distinct features that add personality and character. The owner also donates to the local community schools….I will definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

Dietary restrictions: Dairy and lactose intolerant items available. They had several options for those of us that don’t handle dairy well…especially with a grilled cheese and milkshake specialty spot.

Overall, it wasnt a bad experience. Seemed like good enough food, good enough people. Good enough place- however. I dont think I'll be back. I spent nearly 50 dollars (45 after a tip) for 1 meal. Which, maybe i shouldve been prepared, but that seems like so much. I wish i would've grabbed a receipt. I ordered a steam engine, asked for fries. The menu says it'll be about 15.50 or so. The man behind the counter asked with fries and a drink, i said sure. The register reads 7.99 upcharge. I asked for a butterbeer float as well. Thats a nearly 17 dollar shake. I left a 15 percent tip. Total is 45.05. I wait, no big deal. Food takes time. Im brought my order, and i never get a to go cup for a drink either.
Maybe it was me. Maybe i ordered wrong. Or should have double checked. Or looked online first, because i feel like a to go milkshake cant be nearly as loaded as a for-here one. But i dont think i should have to come fully prepared to order lunch?.
Not a bad experience, i wouldnt classify it as great either. Overall, kind of feel like i was swindled a little bit.

Edit, as a response. Its a 3 star review because it was an okay experience with a high price tag. Average experience= average stars. Not to mention if fries adds 3.50 to a meal, that makes a fountain drink 4.49? (Total upcharge of 7.99- and i never got a cup for my drink either).

We are always looking for something new and were very excited to try this place. The customer service was absolutely fabulous! Although, we were not impressed with the food or prices.
We ordered the KJ Pyledriver w/fries & drink, Flying Fortress w/drink, a kids grilled cheese w/fries, two 12oz shakes and a scoop of ice cream with a topping and it was almost $80 for the three of us. Way overpriced for the quality.
The sandwiches looked good, but they were extremely bland. The fries were delicious though, that was a plus. The soda machine may need to be calibrated soon or deep cleaned, the taste was amiss and quite sour. The shakes were mediocre.
I love the idea of a gourmet grilled cheese restaurant, but this is not it.

This is clearly a best kept secret. All the flavors in one place OMG the food was amazing. We went in a a Tuesday at like 1:45 so it was slow and we were the only ones in at that time so not sure how it is when it's slammed but we were in town for a concert up the road. We got this to hold us over and are we stoked we chose this. I tried the Swann Of Nashville sandwich (soooooo much flavor) I was so excited since I love anything nashville flavored and the honey set it off. The dill spread *chefs kiss. I can truly appreciate whoever came up with this menu. I did try a shake but didn't upgrade it because I already committed to so much food before a concert. My friend got the KJ Pyledriver. So yummy. And my husband got the 3 Bugles and loved it. We got to try the onion rings and the cheese curds. I tried the Wolnik’s hook and ladder not engulfed and it was sooo good. All I have to say is run don't walk to Crimsons.

Ordered the Pyle driver and the salted Carmel shake. Wonderful tasty food. Large portions, took home half my sandwich. I will say though that I wish it was precut instead of asking for it to be cut. However wonderful atmosphere and an easy lunch plan.

This is a firefighter themed place. I love the setup. It's really very nice and welcoming. Everything is easily seen as far as the menu and where to order. I had the pyledriver but I took out the sausage and added salami. I loved it. And on the side. I also had the tomato soup and a soda. The only thing i wish they did was cut the sandwich in half because there are no plastic knives. But that really minor. I got to watch some football while I ate so that was cool there is also a pool table too. Overall, I will be back to try another sandwich. ?
