Review of Hidalgo’s - Moore, Oklahoma
My recent visit to Hidalgo’s was unfortunately far from satisfactory. While the staff was respectful and attentive, the quality of the food left much to be desired.
To start, the white cheese dip served to us was spoiled, which was immediately noticeable. We had to send our meals back when we realized the cheese had been used on my daughter’s enchilada and on my chicken dish as well. The chicken was dry, rubbery, and lacked any real flavor, making it clear that the ingredients were not fresh.
The manager, while polite, seemed indifferent to the issues we raised, which led me to believe that they may be aware of these quality concerns. The food felt catered to a less discerning palate, lacking authenticity and freshness. The refried beans seemed to come straight out of a can, and the overall experience did not match the price.
On the positive side, the salsa picosa was genuinely good, and our waiter did his best to serve it authentically with the right level of spice. That small touch was the only aspect of the meal that felt genuine.
In conclusion, Hidalgo’s did not deliver an authentic or enjoyable Mexican dining experience. I hope they take these concerns seriously and improve their quality.

The Gm Gio was so helpful I Love this place!! Great service and very friendly people. I had Trisha for my server and she was the best! I’ll definitely be coming back :)

This place is amazing Gio and his staff are great!!! I had Trisha as my waitress she was a very Quick and knew what she was doing. Definitely will be coming back.

I'll be honest, the prices made me hesitate on going. But it's a lot of food for the price, and I think it's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants now! So good! Staff was friendly. Definitely coming back soon!

My husband always does carry out for me as I really like their food and he prefers Alfredo’s which I like too. But if I have a choice this is my pick. I get the chicken fajitas with double rice and it’s so yummy! The portions are really plentiful as I can eat leftovers for another meal. The sauces are amazing that they give you. The white queso is so delicious. I can’t believe they serve you all the sauces with your meal and no extra charge. Go give them a try as you will not be disappointed!

Thank you Alvaro for supporting your Wait staff…and making sure we were satisfied. I didn’t think this place would be good….. BUT I WAS PROVEN WRONG!!! I will definitely return.. by the way… the churros are amazing❤️

Alvaro and waitress Trisha were amazing I liked the way Trisha turned something negative to a positive impact, I would truly recommend Hidalgos to others , keep up the good work and y’all will go far in business 👍

The food here is absolutely delicious and decently priced. Our server Julio was attentive and service was great, even the manager checked on us a few times. Will definitely be returning!
