It looks like a normal strip mall restaurant but the inside is colorful and has a very open layout. When you first get seated, they bring fresh homemade chips, salsa, cheese sauce and soft tortillas. I ordered a perfect Margarita, and the presentation was absolutely amazing with diced up fresh Watermelon and limes in a beautiful glass with seasoned salt around the rim. The cocktail was absolutely perfect, the bartender was super friendly and quick. My food came out within minutes of ordering, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. This is Tex-Mex at its finest. The staff is extremely friendly and quick to respond to your needs.I don’t normally leave reviews unless the place is bad lol but I wanted to give this place some credit because so many restaurants are just 2-3 star average these days. This restaurant is delivering on all the key points. Prices were completely reasonable and average, My entrée was the same price as a fast food hamburger meal at most places. I don’t live in town, but every time I have to work in the Moore area, I know where to eat now. There are a bunch of options in the area, but not many of them are highly rated and my past experiences at other places were meh like an Italian place that looks like a 90’s diner.Parking: It’s a strip mall, so in the evening there seems to be plenty of parking. I am not sure about lunchtime..

Great food, great service, huge variety. Chips and salsa to a whole new level: red salsa, green spicy guac salsa, yellow queso, white queso, carrot onion jalapeno relish, fresh tortillas - all really good. My wife and I stopped in yesterday (3/25) as we haven't been to Hidalgos in a while so we sat at the bar. The menu has changed. A new offering is the "De La Casa" bowl which I ordered. It was well presented and tasty.I may have missed it but I didn't see the senior menu or the Hidalgo beans on the new menu. As always, the staff are friendly and the kitchen is fast. The mugs holding the Pacifico are still ice cold. It's always great to see our friend Armando.

Food was great! The hostess who sat us was also very nice. Our server, Fernanda was pleasant, however she barely checked on us. At the end of our meal we asked for boxes and she just stacked the plates on top of each other and took them away. The other servers in the restaurant seemed more attentive to their guests than ours was. Maybe just an off day, but we weren’t too blown away.

It's not even tex mex. It's a sad excuse for an attempt to copy tex mex. Wrapping a tortilla around some meat and just some cheese on it does't make an enchilada. Not to mention that it's 9.99 for just 1 of those with nothing else.
