Small place in a shopping center that will blow your socks off. The best gyro meat I've ever had, and beautifully spiced falafel ? the okra tastes just like your Southern grandma made.
Monty's Gyro & Sub has been a favorite of my family the last (Wow!) nearly 40 years in the same location! Corner of 12th & Eastern.
I started by rewarding my boys when they did yard chores, then I became addicted to the gyros...later I discovered her delicious Falafals and now I have to buy both and split them for two meals. So good! Nice couple still runs Monty's and despite showing some wear, the kitchen is clean, the area for customers dining in...

I asked for a gyro salad. Should be 8.50. Asked for extra feta cheese, cucumber sauce, and pita bread. I got charged 10.84. When she gave it to me the was barely any cheese and no cucumber sauce at all. I asked for cucumber sauce and she tried to charge me another dollar but all I had was a card. I drove 20 minutes to get here just for there food. Food was good service was horrible
