Service was great but food was just ok. I was surprised after seeing the 4+ rating but in the end we were pretty disappointed. One of the biggest red flags for me were the biscuits, they’re frozen, not made from scratch. Biscuits are very easy to make and a foundation for good southern breakfast. If a cafe doesn’t take pride in the simple things, the rest is an uphill battle.
Cozy breakfast and lunch spot. We had a group of 12. We could have waited for them to move tables together, but instead chose to spread out in the booths. The food was delicious! I had the pineapple omelet, which was amazing! Biscuits and gravy were also very tasty! Soft and fresh. Our waitress was very attentive but not intrusive, food was served quickly, and--even though they were full-it didn't seem cramped. Wonderful experience! We love finding and supporting local restaurants...
Sunny Side Up Omelettes was a great breakfast stop! We ordered the ham omelette and the sunny side up omelette special with bacon. We added salsa on the side (it was $1 extra), and both omelettes came with hash browns plus one pancake and one French toast each—definitely plenty of food for the price.
The service was good with no complaints, and the seating is casual—you just sit wherever you like. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get....
