Coffee is amazing! Ambience to study or have a coffee date is great. Service was great. They offered to change my order in case I didn't like it.

I love their latte’s and their vegan donuts! Walking in is way faster than sitting in a drive through anywhere else, and they’ve got a cute nook full of books and records.

Like the coffee and the cookies. People seems nice too. Want to take breakfast sometime.

Great coffee but if you can't use your card or Apple Pay you are s*** out of luck. Just walked out cause all I have is cash and that really sucks. Especially now with more business charging a percent to use cards. Something to think about boxcar.

Excellent coffee, small bites, customer service, & atmosphere. Love the art, colors, positive energy, and the books for sale are a nice touch!

Over priced, food is not good. The avocado toast had something that resembled avacodo, and some roasted corn that looked like it just got dumped out of a can from Walmart. I feel like I just spent 30 bucks on regret.

Ordered the breakfast burrito and homemade biscuit with jam. The breakfast burrito is okay, the homemade biscuit is good, is buttery and goes well with the jam.

Loved the atmosphere here. I had a sugar free latte that was delicious. Also had a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and it was good. Books and games surrounded the tables. Great place to go hang out, read, play games with friends and just enjoy the vibe. I’d definitely come back here!

The workers have been very friendly and it is a nice place to have some coffee and get some work done. Unfortunately their food leaves a lot to be desired. I had a chicken salad sandwich last time that tasted sour, I thought maybe they had pickled all of the veggies or something and it was just a preference issue. The next time I got hummus and veggies. The celery was soft and the carrots were a bit slimy but I thought maybe they stored them in water so tried them anyway, turns out they tasted sour and the hummus was dry. That being said I have only tried those two items, but it is enough to deter me from trying any other food there. The coffee us very good though.

Boxcar coffee is the perfect hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that serves up amazing local roasted KLLR coffee. The location is perfect with tons of parking outside and it's warm and cozy inside. It's the perfect place to get away for some peace and quiet while enjoying your favorite beverage. The ambiance is super chill, with plenty of spots for you to get some work done or just to relax. The coffee options are top notch, they have a bottomless cup for anyone planning on hanging around for a few hours. They also offer snacks and sandwiches. It's a great option for a meal if you're looking for a bite to eat as well. This is definitely going to be a spot I frequent often. Great, friendly service - amazing coffee (brewed and prepared to perfection) - tasty affordable eats - and peace and quiet. This place is pure perfection!

This was not the place I saw on Yelp... everything has been ripped off the walls, my quiche was served cold, breakfast burrito definitely did NOT resemble the picture. My americano was the only hot, tasty thing I had.

The menu and the aesthetic looked amazing online. Upon arriving things were a little different. The menu advertises a lot of items on sourdough however they prepared ours with wheat. The roasted corn had never met a flame in its life and the quiche was served refrigerated. I will say the access to outlets was above and beyond and the WIFI was good. We ordered 2 matcha lattes, a grilled cheese and avocado toast however we were most impressed with the canned dr pepper we paid $2 for. The staff was friendly but based on prior reviews it seems like something must have happened among ownership that degraded this place severely. I didn't have the worst time, but likely will not return. Again, not the WORST place I've spent $30 lol

Cute little local coffee spot. The space was clean and employees were friendly. Coffee (latte) was amazing! I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast burrito but will definitely be back to try other food options.

TLDR: It deserves the 5 stars I gave it in every way. Delicious traditional drinks, perfect seating, fast Wi-Fi, and good vibes. Bring a sweater if it’s cold out.Beverages: Delicious traditional macchiatos, cappuccinos, etc. The espresso is on-point for my taste. For-here drinks are served in glass and porcelain cups.Food: I didn’t have any.Cost: I paid $4 for a high-quality macchiato. I think it is a fair price that matches other coffee shops that offer comparable drinks.Seating: 2 - 10 person tables, standing and sitting bars, couches and cushioned chairs. Perfect for studying, meetings, relaxing, or playing games with friends. There are a few uncovered outdoor tables.Environment: Open layout, high ceiling, lots of space between tables, modern design (wood and metal), good lighting, and large windows. It feels a little chilly and “airy” on this cloudy 54*F day, so a sweater maybe a good choice depending on the weather. Soft music is played at a reasonable volume. The food and coffee smell can approach restaurant levels depending on how busy they are, but the smell is “quality,” if that makes sense.Wi-Fi: Free with a password. As the only person using it, a speed test rated it at 206.5 Mbps down with 13ms latency.Facilities: Two large, clean, one-person, genderless restrooms.Accessibility: Easy to find and plenty of parking. Bike rack, wheelchair accessible with dedicated spaces at the entrance. I’m not qualified to judge how the tables will work with wheelchairs, so someone else will have to provide that info.At the time of this review, the interior is undergoing a remodel to remove the bike shop, so I am not including pictures.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on Sat. 9/17 around 11:30am. I'm just going to bullet point all the issues here, because there's no way a quality place has this many issues, and it makes me wonder how many of the other pictures and reviews on here are curated/fake.- Food was terrible, lowest effort possible. See pictures.- My sausage biscuit was literally just a microwaved turkey sausage patty on a dry, crusty biscuit. That's it, nothing else. Basically $5 for one piece of sausage.- My girlfriend ordered the ham and cheese croissant. They were out of croissants (even though that's half the items on their menu), so instead they put it on a bagel for her. When we got it, it was basically some ham lunch meat and a slice of American cheese on a Walmart bagel. It looked like something a high school kid would microwave for themselves after school.- My girlfriend's maple cinnamon cold brew was bitter and unbalanced. Not that good espresso-y bitter, but the flavor profile was off to both of us. She couldn't drink more than a few sips.- My cinnamon maple latte was supposed to be decaf. The barista accidently made it regular the first time, so he had to remake it for me. Once I finally got it, it was passable-- good froth, decent balance of sweetness with the espresso, but still nothing I'd come back for, just average. All of that cost us almost $30. Big yikes.A few more noteworthy items:- The bathroom I used here had a door that barely could close without some force, and a lock that was barely usable.- There's no more bikes here. Not like that's what we came here for, but it's just bare walls and patches where they used to be now. Maybe they're remodeling.- Service was pleasant/nice enough, but they didn't check with us at all about how our food or drinks were, and also didn't seem concerned at all that we picked up and left after only a few minutes.Overall, this is a big stay away. You don't miss on that many points if you're a quality establishment. I have no idea what's going on with all the other great reviews and pictures. We'll never be back.
