This is an old school local vibe only restaurant, but they consider everyone that walks in the door a local. Have had lunch in Okmulgee tons of times and never stumbled across this restaurant. Bunch of guys ate here today. 2 had steak fingers, 1 had Philly Steak and Cheese sandwich, 1 had the Jalisco Special. 2 had the Chicken Fried Steak dinner. Everyone's food was very, very good. They have healthy choices as well. We choose to eat a bit unhealthy today and the calories were well worth it! If your looking for a chain restaurant go somewhere else. If you looking for down home Oklahoma, pull yourself up a chair.

This place was definitely a nice place to eat! Comfy atmosphere amd great customer service. The portions were huge! We had the chicken fried steak and the steak fingers. One with brown gravy and one with white gravy and it was all just great. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

I didn't dine in. I ordered to go. I got the cheese enchiladas with queso on top. Chips also and queso. Food was great. Portions are huge. I have been to rodeo several times and was not as pleased with the food as I was this time. New cook?

My wife and I ate here today with our grandson. The food was excellent as well as the atmosphere. The only minor flaw was the young waitress was a little distracted and forgot my wife's salad. Our grandson had the Burrito Tapatio and trust me that thing.was huge. My wife and I both had the Chicken Fried Steak and both of them looked like a battered, deep fried brisket. Much to our surprise they were very tender and cooked to perfection. For the three of us to eat and walk out with three carry out boxes still full of food and spend less than $50 I was pleasantly surprised. Well worth the stop to enjoy a good meal at The Rodeo
