Hey.. it’s a cool lil place.. truck parking and good food and pool.. just a beer bar but it’s worth a stop for the company and food.

Stopped here on. Saturday afternoon and it was horrible. Started off with hot honey wings which were not hat and was just fatty skin heavily breaded and fried. The waitress tried memorizing our instead of writing it down and got many things wrong. I ordered filet mignon cheese steak for 18.99 and there was zero meat on it. My wife and son ordered wraps which came wrapped with tin foil around it which caused the wrap to be ‘ wet’ I did not complain I just will not ever go back which is a shame because it is on the way to my campground

Excellent meal, great service. The Cajun/creole pasta was wonderful, a huge portion. My granddaughters ordered the Mac and cheese (again!), and the server was very patient with them when it came to deciding what topping they wanted on the ice cream dessert!

My husband and I dropped in for a late lunch. There were no diners in the restaurant but there were a few regulars seated at the bar. The atmosphere was extremely cozy. I wish the fireplace was on, though ? Our hostess was very friendly and attentive. She even told us not to rush and that we could have stayed as long as we liked. I would have stayed all day, if I could! I had the Greek salad and it was definitely the best Greek salad I have ever had. It was full of fresh vegetables, Greek olives and feta. The dressing was amazing. My husband had the pulled pork poutine. This was also delicious! There was lots of meat, sauce and cheese curds. The fries were super tasty. We will definitely be back!

Went for dinner had the large schnitzel 2 pieces with mushrooms and cheese. Service was fast and efficient. Bar was noisy.
Food is great if a little pricey. Very nice atmosphere. I will only pay cash though from now on. Two of my credit cards were recently copied or cloned with fraudulent transactions coming in on both cards. These fraudulent transactions came in this past Sunday only. The two banks were quick to reach me and shut them off. The only place I used both cards was the J. Towne Tavern. One of those cards had not been used in seven months prior to the J. Towne Tavern charge. This could be a co-incidence but maybe not... Jimmy D. please keep an eagle eye on your staff just in case.
