Had a chance to stop in for lunch today. Debbie was fantastic and the young man cooking (did not catch his name) was very polite and greeted us as we entered. Great prices and the burger, d*** good burger! Chips and salsa were nice and hot and fresh on order. I will definitely be back to have some great food and great company again. 5 out of 5 stars!

Wherever you are, jump in the vehicle and drive to this place to try it out. It's awesome! Saturday was Chicken Fried Steak day, so I had that. A couple of others had chicken strips and one had the pork chops. It was all just incredible, all the way down to the green beans and other sides. Amy, our server, was outstanding, taking care of all our needs. The iced tea was good and the Yuengling was cold and tasty. This is a spot that I will drive long distances to visit again, hopefully soon.

It turns out this is not like the Chicken Shack on RT 66. Still our lunches were very good and the service was also very good.

Whole chicken is a tiny chicken like buffalo wing small. And an order of potato wedges is half a potatoes worth. And all for almost $30. And bald cook in back touched his face every 5 seconds. Gross will not eat here again.

We really love their double cheeseburgers! Never burnt or greasy, done just right! The portion size on the double burgers is really filling for only $2 an extra patty. It’s not a thin wafer like other places, it feels like a burger you’d make at home with a thicker patty & fresh veggies. For being an older restaurant, it sure has been kept up very nicely and always feels and looks clean and cozy with a large outdoor eating area. The salad bar looks great although I haven’t tried it yet. We love to do a to-go order with kids or try their family night on Tuesdays where kids eat free. Their fries& okra are good and not greasy. I haven’t tried other menu items yet. I really hope they stay open! I also appreciate that we have called ahead and placed an order & ate inside so that our 2 toddlers are fussy waiting for food when it’s ready to go getting there. SO NICE

Good place to eat although the salad bar is pretty weak. I had a hard time eating low carb here. I was hoping for a delicious keto chicken salad or like but no luck

I went to the chicken shack tonight for the first time. I was genuinely excited to try it. I have food allergies and called them in advance to make sure I could eat there. We got there at 7 and ordered food. At 8:30, we were told they ran out of chicken but I could order pork chops or a hamburger. Unfortunately I’m allergic. I asked to speak the manager but he was cooking and wouldn’t come out. The wait staff was sweet and it wasn’t their fault. However, I will not be back. I’m unsure of how the chicken shack runs out of chicken (not to mention almost all beer).

We got taken in by the social media marketing that made the steaks look really good. So, with my son and granddaughter coming into Edmond to visit us we decided to drive the 40 minutes to Mulhall in search of a great little steak joint. Boy were we wrong. Our first clue should have been when we walked in and nobody else was eating steak on their advertised Ribeye Night. For $29 you get a really tough ribeye that was medium instead of medium rare. The steak also has zero seasoning and zero sides. I hoped to choke it down with steak sauce, but they don’t have any. We also ordered a single trip to the salad bar. It was pretty bad. Wilted cheap iceberg lettuce and mostly empty containers of salad bar basics. I was hoping the ranch would be some small-town homemade version - but sadly it was obviously some bulk ranch. The side of okra was decent. The service was not great either. Waitress must have been new and didn’t really know anything about the menu. We had to seek her out for forks and drink refills were non existent. 3 adults and 1 child and it was $133!!!!!!!! Safe to say that was our one and only visit.

The last time I ate here, I had a man named Troy as my waiter. I ordered chicken chunks and I got handed 3 strips instead which is not at all what I ordered. When I brought this to his attention he just goes “Just cut it up, it’s basically the same thing.” And set steak a knife next to me instead of bothering to fix my order. He also sarcastically said “What, do you want me to cut it too?”. This is the most abhorrent service I’ve ever received at an establishment to say the least. Spending as much money at this restaurant to get treated the way I had been treated is something I will never forget.
