I got the torta and sope with rice and beans. Barbecoa and Al-Pastor respectively. First, the service was super helpful and friendly. Second, the pastry for the torta and sope were obviously hand made, and the beans were homemade too. Great selection of drinks from pure cane sugar glass bottle sodas to beers. Honestly, this may be the best Mexican restaurant in Muskogee, and I've had them all multiple times.

Staff were prompt and friendly. Food was good with a decent serving. I got the burrito which was comparable to chipotle though more traditional seasoned instead of Americanized. Would stop back in another time.

Jose’s has great food that is not expensive.

I had gotten the pork crackling taco and it was the worst food poisoning of my life.

When you find a little family run place it can be hit or miss, but Jose's knocks it out of the park. It is small so get there early for lunch if you want a seat. The salsa and queso is good, the enchiladas are delicious. The place quickly became packed, which is a good sign. Take out is an option!

Was craving authentic street tacos and these were sooooo good!! They were exactly what I was craving. Service was wonderful and food came out super quickly.

Great taco's

Well finally the weekend came and the wife and I decide to drive down here and try Jose's Mexican restaurant.
From the time that we walked in, we felt like this was going to be definitely worth the drive.
We came hungry and we ordered two barbacoa tacos with beans and rice. Two carne asada and two al pastor tacos with one sope and then I added the menudo.
Yep that's how we get down. Everything was very good. It was fresh as expected. The guacamole you can tell that it was really fresh. We had to add a little bit of salt which I believe it was set up like that and it tasted so good. The chips and salsa like other reviews really good as well. Everything was fresh.
We were definitely happy and we'll definitely be back. I know my wife, when she drives through town, she'll definitely stop by to pick up something. It's not a waste of time. They're friendly and it was a comfortable atmosphere.
