My husband and I ate breakfast here this morning. Food was great ...A+ on everything except the gravy...but I'm not a fan of pkg and to me that is what it tasted like ... wasn't bad ...I just prefer the real stuff made with milk not water. Biscuits were huge and delicious!

As many others say if they would spruce up the outside, (windows need to be washed)from outside it looks like it's closed & without just knowing it was there you'll miss it. Sign pretty much is unreadable, that said, you'd probably have to wait in line!

This is our favorite diner in town. You step into this restaurant & feel like you've gone back in time. The atmosphere is a vibe. The yellow booths, classic jams, the kind waitresses, the amazing food/portions & the friendliest chef make it all worth the while. We love Shawnee Restaurant.

I have not eaten eggs taste si devious since my grandmother. The eggs tasted like they were fried in Breakstone butter. The grits were hearty and rich. The restaurant holds alot of nostalgia. This restaurant gives a feeling of "Home".

Very outdated interior, signage, and equipment. It seems like their cooktop vent doesn't work since when it's very busy, it gets quite smokey. HOWEVER!! Their food is exceptionally good! I've never had crispy hashbrowns that had a soft center! How the hell did you pull that off!! TEACH ME!! In all seriousness, do not let the offputting exterior send you to another place, try them out! They're very good!

I love everything about this restaurant, food is very great quality and the amount they give is perfect…. The chef does a really great job preparing the meals… the two waitresses are so kind and friendly… Everytime I visit from Texas it’s a must I stop here for breakfast

We found this place on a whim driving from Minnesota to Texas, it might not look like much from the outside but let me tell you about the inside. The staff are very friendly! The service is very fast and the food was amazing! This was a great place to be! Highly recommend! Oh and the cooks nailed it!

That was my 1st time there I’m a truck driver sometime it’s hard to find a good place for food, that place is not far from pilot truck stop, we have a brother in the kitchen lol ? food is great now I I have a spot to go to when I’m in
