Best burger I’ve had in awhile from a restaurant. I enjoyed the burger with the hot link and it was great. They made a cake and meat and cheese tray for my in-laws wedding that was absolutely amazing too. Great place. Great servers especially Averi ? I highly recommend this place.

We had lunch there today and it was delicious! I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and my husband had the hamburger. We had the curly and straight fries and the portions were so large. Great service and the owners were very nice.

So the food was good. The burger was 5* quality for sure. It was good size, tasted awesome and toppings were great. Their fries left a ton to be desired. Tried straight and curly. Zero seasoning and very undercooked but still a good place to try. Oh their cupcakes were kid approved and excellent.

Great place to take the family out to eat! The owner and her husband are very sweet, friendly people. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. It is clean , they have a great selection of items to choose from on their menu. Wait times have been very minimal if none at all. Their food portions are very large and they make homemade fries "smack taters". Yum!!!

A hidden gem in Chouteau! We moved here from Dallas and have struggled the last year to find great food comparable to Texas, We finally found it! We came in an hour before closing with our 2 toddlers, my husband and his sister. The portions are amazing and everything had so much flavor. The restaurant itself is SO clean and there’s a little arcade room off the eating area but the hidden gem of the show is the dessert! Freshly made fried pies! They have 3 flavors but you can do half and half of each flavor. I did apple & peach? The peach reminded me of An elevated peach cobbler that was perfectly sweet w/ a scoop of ice cream. I had the big catfish dinner and this tasted like the catfish my grandma makes, It was perfectly crisp & everything was hot but not greasy. My Husband had a bacon burger and every bite he was making the happiest noises? Our appetizer was the sampler on a board! So creative & cute! My husbands a bigger guy and the single patty was PERFECT! The owner, her grandson & the cook (her husband) sweetest people, so nice to talk to & as Texans I can confirm, They have the flavor of Dallas with some small town comfort. Great big thank you from the Quiroz family❤️❤️

The Chouteau place is so great. The owner is as awesome as the strawberry lemon cake.Seen someone say they can get same at cracker bucket cheaper. Whoopee. The food is far more amazing because it's not a prepackaged meal. This food is made not heated.The staff is interactive, they actually care about the people not your billfold.In fact now I think about. im going back today.

Great place, people, and food! Went to the one on the corner of Hwy 69 and Border Ave. I'm not sure if the one on York St is open or if they moved to this location. Very clean and nice inside. Waitresses were all friendly, talkative, and helpful. We're asked several times by the waitresses and staff how are meal was. Food was fantastic and the right size amount? . Will definitely come back, thanks to the staff being so friendly and helpful!
The staff was super friendly, answered our questions with a smile, and were very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and we are already planning our next visit.

We have seen the same restaurant in chouteau, but are in Muskogee so we stopped for lunch - not only was the food absolutely amazing, the service was phenomenal!!! We had a bacon cheeseburger where the bacon wasn’t quite done - the lady (I believe her name is Stephanie) apologized, took care of it right away - which; the apology would have been enough, but she went beyond that to try to make it right for us! Well done, SmackThat and staff!!!! We will definitely be visiting the chouteau branch!!!

BLT sandwich & fries were delicious! The fries are lightly salted as to not overpower the seasoning, which is how food should be. Came with my mother & she had the chicken bite salad. For the price you pay, you will get full, because my mother & I were full from lunch. Huge thanks to the crew for knocking the hangry out of me & my mother!

Finally tried this place, and It was so good I went back the night after too, lol! Hubby and I loved their Meat Loaf special and then tried the Chicken and Dumplings and, oh, my goodness, they were both Excellent! And their fried pies are heavenly! Definitely recommend them!
