I have eaten here many times over the years, and it is always incredible whether you dine in, pickup, or have it delivered on Grubhub/doordash. It's truly authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff there is so nice! They've moved locations once since I've been eating there, and the newest spot is more spacious and has a little drive thru, which is great. It gets very busy at lunch time for sure. The meat selection is the best in Muskogee. The Pastor is so good. I like to try different items every time I go, and I love it all.

I was not a fan. The place was really small, which is fine because they were not very busy. They do not have chips and salsa, which is a must for me. They were not very friendly and it was reminiscent of a day care with kids running around and in and out of the kitchen. The food was ok not bad and not great

Great food, quick and friendly service, we used takeout so the ambience at home was great.

A quick greet shot our way and we were able to sit where we wanted. Simple menu which is what you look for at a taqueria. The tortillas do taste to be made fresh. Pretty good overall!

Family had a chicken burrito, carnitas nachos (added raw onions), and kids cheese quesadilla with rice and beans. Everything was delicious including the red and green (favorite) salsa. It was a really great stop on a road trip.

Hooray! for Huaraches!5 Star "Authentic Mexican Food" (Note: The descriptive phrase "Authentic Mexican Food" when properly used, does not have the word California in it.) Don't be misled.Information you need before you eat here. The new health score rating service that Yelp uses, favors the restaurants with inflated positive scores (in my opinion). I usually just ignore the score. Tacos La Tia's health score is 65 as rated from the routine Health Dept inspection dated 8/11/22. I can't ignore that. It is troubling. Click on the "Health Score" and read the actual violations for yourself, then decide. Today was 95 degrees. I am not sure the air conditioner was even working. The digital thermostat in the dining area was showing 87. Very warm. It was bearable thanks to a few functioning celling fans. And my last point wait time. Several reviewers have commented to the slow service. This is a small restaurant with a small kitchen staff. This is freshly made food. Hand made tortillas. It takes TIME. Order a side of chips and salsa. YOU have to order the chips and salsa! Not "just" to pass the time, but because.....The green salsa that is served with the chips is one of the most outstanding, flavorful, spicy, delicious green salsas I have ever had. Thick tomatillo base with spices, cilantro, fresh tomatoes and crisp fresh onion. Fantastic! The crisp chips appear to be made in house. A perfect start to a meal and a tasty way to kill time. Save some salsa for your food!Authentic it is and authentic we shall have! I went with a steak huarache and a corn tortilla, jalapeno, chicken quesadilla. The young lady that served us said the quesadilla was actually called something else. I don't speak or listen in Spanish. The closest word I can duplicate on Google is the term Sincronizada. Its description on Spanish food sites best fits the quesadilla family of food and may indeed be the word she used. Both items were excellent! I strongly recommend the steak huarache! They offer two squeeze bottles of sauce with the meals. A red and a green sauce. Neither got my attention because of the green salsa that came with the chips. My wife went with the Enchiladas Verdes. Four grilled chicken filled enchiladas with a light amount of green enchilada sauce, queso fresco crumbles, and cilantro. Beans and rice on the side. Authentic deliciousness, slightly different than OkieMex. Service, friendly and adequate. The fresh Authentic Mexican Food on its own, rates a fabulous 5 stars, but because of the concerning food safety and customer comfort issues I described, 4 stars for the overall dining experience is generous.

This is might be my new favorite authentic Mexican place. I just ate the Costilla Roja and it was delicious and SPICY! I have a high heat tolerance and it got the forehead sweat going unlike any of the Americanized Mexican restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

One of the best taco stops in Oklahoma. Not the fanciest exterior, but once you have your first bite all doubts will fade away. I rarely visit Muskogee without stopping by.

Some of the best and cheapest tacos you'll ever eat! Service was super fast. Building needs a facelift, but the tacos are worth it.

Not sure why this was 4.5 stars. No bottle coke. No Pepsi. No sprite. I order sopes and 3 times I repeat no beans. After waiting 30 minutes the food comes out. Beans all over everything!!So I wait for another 15 minutes. Sopes come out and the sopes aren't cooked. They were complete dough. They never filled out drinks. We had to go ask for refills. Definitely not 4.5 stars.

Inconsistent food. Slow AF! Not friendly. Not super clean looking on the inside. No chips and salsa if you go inside to eat.
