This place used to be just a Mexican grocery store, and they had a food truck outside, but as their business grew, the grocery store became a restaurant and became popular. It is really good and as close to authentic as you can get in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

I'm a big fan of actual authentic Mexican food. Not just a menu in Spanish that's been microwaved in the back that orders salsa from California. This place blew my mind and damn near put me in a food coma... That's all you're getting out of me because you need to go try it yourself. Support small businesses.
Street Tacos are boring. I seldom order them. An exception today.
Tacos La Morena’s Street Tacos were outstanding. Tender steak, Cilantro and onion on double thick corn tortillas. A side of perfect beans and rice. Very good salsa roja and salsa verde served in the plastic squirt bottles. I almost used the entire bottle of salsa roja.
