I’ve never been here before and decided to try it out for all of the 1 star reviews the Karen’s left. First off they brought out our menus as soon as we sat down and took our drink order. The waiter came back 37 seconds later (yes I timed it) with our ice cold drinks. Another 5 minutes went by and he came to take our order. The food came out 15 minutes later and it was very good! A couple other things I notice people mentioned. There was no sign of a small child running around disturbing customer. There was in fact dust on the tv tho. Nonetheless the fish in the tank seemed very lively and happy. The workers were very kind and considerate as they came back often to refill our drinks. I’d say the Karen’s reviews are busted! I love this place and small family run business. Great food, better people, and an experience I’ll come back often for :)

The food is very bland, it had no real taste. Even the wasabi was bland. I ordered spicy California rolls, gyoza and a side portion of fried rice. The rolls had no taste, the gyoza were soggy and the rice was bland. While waiting for my order to be ready I was looking around and there is a visible layer of dust on every surface, the non-working TV behind the counter had a thick layer of dust across the entire screen. There is a very sad looking fish tank that I'm not sure had anything in it, there was a toddler running around talking very loudly. All things considered it was a very poor use of $20 and I will not go back.
10/10 one of the best places to get sushi in the metro. My husband and I got the gyoza and jalapeño tempura for appetizers and I am blown away. We are here on a Friday at noon, it’s pretty empty and I’m not sure why, I’m surprised there isn’t a wait out the door. Keep this place in mind whenever you’re looking for amazing flavor combinations. I’ll update my review once the sushi gets inhaled.

The ginger salad dressing was nowhere near what it typically is at other sushi restaurants. It had such a bad taste that I couldn't eat it. The clear soup was very good, however. The sushi had what appeared to be a homemade spicy Mayo that resembled the ginger salad dressing. I would not go back again.
