The waiters are great here and help out a lot. In the morning it’s pretty busy, but 10-11 ish, it’s actually a little more quiet. To be honest, the waffles are great and the pancakes could be cooked a little longer. The seating is clean and the store is bright. The location is easy to get to and has ample parking. My only qualm is that maybe the cook could wear some gloves. I didn’t see anything unsanitary, but I was able to watch him from my seating. Thanks for the breakfast!
Went for my "Usual" breakfast (Baja Omelet with sides). Service was Excellent as usual. Last several visits the Omelets have been mediocre, all the ingredients in the center (cheese not fully melted), eggs not fully done (still runny) and just tossed on the plate!
But today was OUTSTANDING!! The Omelet was amazing!! This is how I remember them being at Jimmy's Egg. The cook that prepared it was Arturo, and I could tell he wasn't back there just pushing...
We have visited other Jimmy's Egg restaurants with good experiences. Our visit to the Mustang location was just OK. It was Labor Day and the place was 70% filled. It took about 10 min. to get our drink order. A few min. later we had our food order taken. Our breakfast arrived about 30 min. later . Overall the food was ok. Getting coffee refilled took awhile. After spending over an hour we came to the conclusion we will visit a different location next time.
