Mama Hong's Pho & Bistro

Pho tai gau - broth is bland and the gau (fatty brisket) is cut very small. It is basically chin (brisket) with how little to no fat on it.

The dine-in wait time is extremely long. 37 mins for a bowl of pho for one person is embarrassing. We gotta do better than this. Had the pho been worth the wait, this post wouldn’t have been made. Quite disappointed with how the reviews don’t reflect this establishment at all.

Workers are very nice though. The restaurant atmosphere could be better. Raising the music volume would help bring the vibes up a bit.

Wow! Just …wow!

We had a very good meal at the newly re-opened Mama Hong’s. We had been twice before when they were under previous management and both times food and service were had. We were very excited to see they had re-opened.
With this visit, the pho and beef rice platter were both perfect. Wonderful service.

I tried this place on a whim and the pho was so good! I got the lean brisket pho take out. I will definitely be back!

We have ate here since they opened, and we have never left disappointed! Everything is perfect every single time! Beef short rib (c9) on menu is my favorite I tried it the first time and it’s too good to try anything else because I love it so much! The dumpling and ragoon are really good!

Weve eaten here several times now and the food and service have always been great. We've also ordered take out several times with the same result. It's definitely a nice change from all the same restaurants around Mustang.

Been here at least 5 times and will always come back!!! I always order pho and most of the time it was perfect though one or two time the broth tasted different than usual. My husband isn’t a pho person so he always exploring their other menu, from fried rice, steak, ribs, to banh mi– everything was so good!

Surprisingly disappointed after reading the good reviews. They forgot to bring the Thai Basil, and when I asked for some, they brought enough for a child's plate compared to what I observed other tables were getting. But that's no big deal. The bean sprouts were brown, the noodles were mushy and overcooked. The shrimp was tough and chewy. The broth was bland and flavorless. The fried wonton was a good touch though.

When you walk in, youre greeted immediately, not only by the staff, but by the warm atmosphere and cute decorations.

I'm decently picky about food, so I dont say this lightly, when I compliment the dishes I had; ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. The only thing I wish were different, is the amount of crab in the rangoon. I didnt see any :(.. Despite that, it was still really wonderful!

I cant say I had any complaints besides that! Service was quick, like, really quick, and some of the best Ive ever received. You can tell that everything is fresh, especially the strawberry smoothie. Theres actual strawberry seeds floating around in there! A good sign!

Thank you Mama Hong's for the wonderful experience. After a horrible day at work, I was relieved to be apart of such a positively beautiful experience.
