Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

The employee behind the counter was patient and suggested I try the new lemon pepper dry rub and suggest i make it a large zack snack meal. It was one of the best dine in experiences ive had in years.

Have you ever drove by the Zaxby’s in Mustang, OK. and wondered why there is hardly ever anyone there? If your experience has been like mine it is likely because of very poor customer service! I attempted to visit this restaurant on the evening of January 6th through the drive thru, with no service. There were no cars in line ahead of me and after waiting in silence for almost 5 minutes, I said hello into the speaker twice and finally a guy responded back saying he would be with me in a second but never followed up after waiting an additional 2 or 3 minutes. I ended up leaving and driving almost directly across the street to a well established chicken restaurant that’s understands customer service very well.

The bottom line here is Zaxby’s typically has very good food but it can’t be experienced without proper management and customer service to order and serve it. This is not my first experience with poor customer service at this location but rest assured, it was my last!

It is important to note by looking at other reviews, my experience is not isolated but one thing remains consistent, mgmt is quick to respond asking for you to contact them to correct the matter from months back but it seems to simply be a canned response for social media as nothing ever seems to improve!

I found a nail on my food and bad attention

The food was so good I started looking up houses for sale. So if that doesn’t tell you enough about this place idk what will. Good job zaxbys Mustang. I miss you.

I just moved to Mustang and came in here a couple days ago. I've been to Zaxby's only a couple times before , once in Laurinburg , North Carolina and once in Las Vegas , Nevada. The one in N.C. was disappointing , tenders not good , dining area dirty and water all over the floor by the soda machine. The one in Las Vegas I got the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla and it was sooo good. Sadly it was for a limited time only. If they bring it back I will gladly come back for it.

I got the Asian Chicken Wrap this time at this location. The lady I ordered with was nice and she said the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla was her favorite too. I got my order to go and it was a good sized wrap , but it didn't have enough sauce on it so it was kind of dry. Next time if I get one I will ask for extra sauce on the side to dip it in. It was okay , but I might or might not order it again. I personally don't think Zaxby's chicken tenders are better than most places. I tried their chicken tenders with several sauces when I was in Las Vegas. I know a lot of people really like Zaxby's , but I'm not that impressed. I will probably come back later to try new menu items and especially if they bring back that Chicken Fajita Quesadilla.

The chicken is inconsistent, the tenders seem to use a cornstarch batter mimicking the Chinese style. However, they dont do it right. Corn starch batter is accurate for the Chinese style fry, but the Chinese double fry. Par fry once, let cool down, then finish off with a double fry. This method significantly increases crispyness and will stand up to sauces.

The wings had zero cornstarch batter which would have improved the quality if that dish, especially double fry. Being able to stand up to the sauce and stay crispy was the reason the Chinese created this method. The wings were chewy, tasty, but chewy.

The fry cook needs to shorten the time on the fried pickles. They were crispy but utterly dry inside.

Sarah was extremely rude! After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take my order, Sarah finally responded. Not only was she hateful her customer service skills are very poor. If she would take her air pods out of her ears she might be able to hear when a guest is there. It would also be nice if she would include a fork after I specifically asked for one.

Sadly never have the food ready and always have to pull up even though no one is behind us waiting. Double check your food before driving off.

Went through the drive thru. I was the only customer in line, was asked to pull up and park and wait. I asked why, and was told “to avoid their wait time going up” I’m sorry, but I fail
To see how that gives how accurate the customer’s wait time is and it seems like they are trying to falsify how much time each customer is ACTUALLY waiting for
Their food. Very shady.

Went through the drive-thru and ordered a 6 piece chicken finger platter with double fries. Got home only to discover 4 pcs. of chicken and a single order of fries. Thanks for the huge disappointment and overcharge! I will NEVER spend another dollar at this store. Not the first time this has happened.
