Let's start with 2 years ago I ordered my sons 5th birthday cake from this bakery. We picked up the cake and the icing was running off the cake. The writing and icing was not staying on the cake, called the owner of the bakery she came to our home and stated that there was something wrong with either the flour or the sugar that's what caused it to happen and to put a fan on it. We did not ask for any refund or any discount on this cake. We just dealt with it. So we gave her another chance this year for his 7th birthday thinking it was just a fluke thing that happened. So we ordered a Sponge Bob cake this year for his 7th birthday. When we picked up the cake on the 6th of September everything was ok we took the cake home and it was fine and left it in the box and left it out on the bar like she said that it would be fine. When we got up the next morning the top layer of the cake had slide off the bottom layer. We called her and she came to our home and stated that the bottom cake was to moist and the top cake was to heavy so the bottom cake gave away and started to crumble. She took the cake home and took the top cake off to fix and didn't have time to fix or remake the bottom cake because the birthday party was less than 3 hours away. She stated she could make cupcakes to try and give us something for his party. My 7 yr old son was is tears. This is not what we ordered and not what he wanted and picked. I went to pick up the cupcakes and the top tier of the cake. I payed $130 for a 2 tier cake and ended up with a top tier and cupcakes. I asked for some kind of refund and she got mad and then her husband chimed in and asked me what I did for a living. That has nothing to do with her baking skills for his information I work for Walmart that stands behind what they do and if they mess up they will make it right unlike what she does. Then she offered a $20 refund that was an insult.I told her to keep it apparently she needed it more than I did. She told me when I was leaving to never call her again. This is the worst bakery ever. So we payed $130.00 for a 6 inch cake and cupcakes.
Instead of the best day ever.
It was the worst day ever for my 7 year old.
Stay away from this bakery. It's bad news all the way around no customer service at all.

Mrs. B saved us in a tight situation! She’s the best!! We needed heart shaped Macarons for a party for our teenage daughter last minute. She was the ONLY person who responded to our request. Not only did she make them heart shaped and pink, they were DELICIOUS!! I’m not a macaron fan but they were amazing and the hit of the party!! We will be ordering more yummy goodies for sure!! What delicious talent!! Thank you!!!

You can’t go wrong with anything you pick from them. Everything is delicious and very fresh. If you’re doing Keto they have an amazing bread you can use. Usually those breads are super dense but theirs are so soft that they are really enjoyable.

Her artistry is evident in her cakes and macaroons (my personal favorite!). It is without reservation that I recommend Homestead Baking. Mrs. B provides exceptional baked goods as well as customer service. I refer her to anyone I know who desires treats for everyday or special occasions.

I just purchased several goodies at Choctaw's Farmer's Market. I am so happy! Started with sampling the pumpkin macaroons on the way home, followed quickly with pistachio macaroons. The smoothest fillings and freshest taste ever. Looking forward to the morning to taste apple tarts and pumpkin bread. Keto bread at lunch. It's going to be a good day!
