Drove up and the only dude that was working was smoking a cigarette right out side the door. I asked him if he was the only one and he just glared at me. I turned and walked away. With that attitude and disgusting behavior I will not go or eat anything from there.

On 11/26/2024 I ordered a pizza for delivery. Did not receive 2 garlic cups nor did I receive 2 plates or napkins. The delivery person had to acquire the cutlery from our motel breakfast area. Pizza was awesome. But it’s the small details that make the delivery experience a 5 stars.

If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would. The so-called manager Eddie is extremely rude and unprofessional. We ordered pizza well over an hour and a half ago and have the tracking that shows where it is and it’s never shown up. When we call in and say we want to cancel our order and be refunded, Eddie, “the manager” refused and hung up on me. It is absolutely unprofessional to refuse to refund someone when you have not provided the service that you were supposed to provide in the timeframe that you were supposed to provide it. In addition, talking down, being rude and refusing to do anything to remedy the issue is not good customer service. I would absolutely NEVER purchase anything from this store again especially if Eddie, the so-called store manager, is still employed there. Absolute horrid customer service.

Pizza and toppings good and hot and pineapple cool to taste. Just like we like it.
The delivery driver was amazing she was dooo nice and sweet . She has a pretty smile and she was just friendly. We need more of her . I ask her name it was Deb.
The store doesn’t take American Express. If the owners too cheap to pay the processing fees, you shouldn’t own a Papa Johns.They should advertise this before placing an order now I have a large order that my company won’t pay me back for.

Pizza is usually cooked well. Fast delivery and pickup. We haven’t had any major issues with this location. Tried the cinnamon dessert and paid for icing on the side. The cup was basically empty. For $0.79 at least fill the cup up! The cinnamon pull apart wasn’t edible because it was so dry and needed lots of icing.

The food here is freshly made, tasty. Bread sticks, are soft, tasty and made with love. Pizza and chicken wings are perfectly cooked. The delivery service is best in Newcastle.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was called by the store, after an hour, asking me if my pizza was delivered and seconds later they told my pizza was in the oven. I was then called by the driver an older gentleman who was lost. I called the manager and hung up when I saw I car drive by my house. I then called the manger back and was treated very rudely. I then called corporate to complain and I will not get my money back for another 5 days. I have ordered from this location numerous times and this was the worst experience with papa Johns I have ever had.

When you call the store (select option 5 in the automated system to be sent directly to the location and not the call center) they are always helpful and attentive to your order. They’ve never gotten an order wrong and my items have always been ready in under 10 minutes. Highly recommend this Newcastle location.
