This place has Great service and atmosphere. My only issue was we made a call ahead for 5:00 p.m. for a party of 9. They did they don't make reservations, but if we arrive early there would be no issue. We arrived at 4:40 p.m., and we did not get seated untill after 5:30 p.m. You would think coming in to eat early and calling ahead, they would be able to know a party of 9 were coming and get prepared to accommodate us. We eat out a tremendous amount and use OpenTable to book our reservations especially for a large party. That is good customer service to allow reservations when you're talking of this large of a party. I would not recommend this place for a large party unless you're willing to wait close to an hour to get seated. They do have a wonderful drink menu with all kinds of different styles and flavors that will suit anyone and a nice full bar. The food menu is extensive and you would be able to find whatever your heart desired to eat in their realm of food items. Overall, we had a fantastic time and our entire party enjoyed themselves. Hopefully, they will reconsider their reservation for large groups. Because of the food, bar menu, and service I still gave them a four star rating.

Our entrées were good - everyone liked what they ordered. Knocking it down to 4 stars because I like the "set up" better at other places.

Great Mexican restaurant, on par with those in the surrounding area. Many different unique food selections.

The Blanchard Newcastle area has Mexican food restaurants that are either not that good or badly managed or both. Luckily San Marco's has come to the rescue with a beautiful restaurant, great service and excellent food.

Food was terrible, service was worse, cheese dip was like soup. You would do better to eat at taco bell.

Hi Nikki

Owner is rude, he owns many rental properties in Newcastle and I’ve heard he’s horrible to his tenants. When we heard he was building a restaurant here, we were excited as we’re a big fan of the one on Merdian. We put what rumors we had heard out here aside, and decided to give him our business as we’re a big fan of the restaurant. They also charge if you use card here instead of cash, they won’t tell you about the charge either. Which is highly improper for a restaurant ontop of wanting a tip. Went to eat here after excited for it to be opened, our queso was cold and had no flavor, the chips were a bit stale. Brought this up to the waitress and she seemed to not care. She seems to not like working there at all. Water had something in it, don’t know what it was. I refused to drink it. Ordered some enchalliadas, the sauce had no flavor, and the beans here are almost watery enough to be soup, meat had little to no flavor. We paid for a meal and left. Won’t be going back. Usually we go to the one in OKC. If you’re honestly looking for good Mexican food in Newcastle, this would not be it. I’d drive over to the other Mexican place by Walmart or go into town. I’ve never seen a new restaurant be so sloppy with their food, service, or hidden fees but when you’re dealing with someone rumored to be horrible to their tenants, I’m not surprised they’re horrible with their costumers either.A lot of restaurants don’t survive in Newcastle, I have seen a lot come and go. I hope they listen to their customers and improve their food and reputation.

The food was okay, I didn't eat much. The staff was great in a very chaotic location. The chips and salsa were the absolute stars of the meal. We will go back on a less busy night and reevaluate. TIP THE STAFF WELL!!Wheelchair accessibility: It is VERY tight with staff running in every direction with full trays over their heads. Venture in cautiously if you are disabled.

Do not let the wait detour you (there's a reason they are busy!). We are trying to "eat the menu" because we go often and want to try everything. There has been a few things that I probably wouldn't order again - not because they were bad, just we've liked other things more. All the waiters have been great (remember they are busy, so if they don't remember if you sweet or unsweet tea, that's not bad service! The bar service is good, and they are super busy making drinks, taking orders, etc. So thankful they brought their family owned business to the Tri-City area.

Definitely the best San Marcos in the area! From the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks to the food. All top quality. I have had both sit down to order and sit at the bar, have a drink to place an order to go. Both were very efficient and accurate, and the food was perfect. This is the place to go for drinks and food to nibble on after work! Highly recommend! For food suggestions, definitely try the Parrillada San Marcos with tortillas! Also, their extra sloppy Tecate's and Pina Colada are excellent! Don't let the full parking lot scare you away. The seating inside is set up very well, so seating is immediate.

I ordered a Burrito plate to take home and honestly was a bit disappointed. I opened it up and it was just a box of mush. It tasted fine, but just wasn’t great overall for the price.
