I eat here almost every week and I'm glad servers have taken the time to learn my name and remember what I usually get and like.Dietary restrictions: I cannot eat wheat because of Celiac disease and I like that most of their items this is not an issue.

Newkirk Staple. Been there for years. Went on a Friday and it was packed. Football game started and the place cleared out. Service was on point. No drinks went dry. I REALLY wanted the AYCE catfish and ribs but opted for the chicken fried steak. Don't recall anything special about it Although it was good. Menu has all the good stuff on it. This place is worth checking out. Small town place. enjoy.

I didn't like the food or the confederate flag memorabilia. The meat was dry and the deviled eggs tasted like they were soaked in sugar. The servers were very nice. I appreciate them saying they'd tell the manager that the confederate flag memorabilia made me uncomfortable.

If your ever in Newkirk you must stop in this family oriented country style restaurant with good homestyle cooked meals that's sure to satisfy the hungiest cowboy or girl out there!My husband,mother-in-law and myself had a very nice early supper with awesome service and free chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert.Come to find out the owner and his family were actually having supper at the table just to our left, they didn't speak to us but he seemed very interested in the chatter paying close attention to what the customers were saying about their experience while sitting there, which was a very good way to get honest feed back.We had to wait a little longer but the meals were worth it....we'll be back for sure!
