The Hutch on Avondale

The Hutch was excellent as always. We ate brunch- salmon and eggs and eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly. The server, Ivan, was great. He's one of the finest waiters in the metro.

Highly Disappointed - Food Execution was very poor.. it felt and tasted like Waffle House cooks and not chef or scratch made.

Our server Joseph was absolutely amazing. The restaurant in cleanliness were outstanding as my husband and I have only been there one other time. However, the entrées were lacking in flavor as well as preparation.at this time, I do not see us returning.

We always enjoy the creative, tasty food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service.

We did tapas and salads. Fun place. Great location and above average food. Weren't a fan of the meats o. The charcuterie board but cheeses and other items great. Loved the dips and chips. Waiter was excellent! Great location near classes curve.

Old fashions, an incredibly easy drink to make, were horrible and three of us had them. Food was good, not great - we had filets. Wine was good and pricing well. Service was good.

The noise level is unpleasant. Very difficult to talk with the person or people at your table. The food was good, however, a VERY small Hutch salad with almost no champagne vinaigrette. This was my second time eating at Hutch. My first experience I also had the larger Champagne Vinaigrette salad (which I thought I had ordered) and it was so much better. Perhaps, next time.

First time in, greeted and sat down. Food came a late. Ordered the grilled cheese with prosciutto and pear. Great concept however not enough pear to give the whole sandwich a sweet overall flavor, could use some perserve in my option. Also felt like one of a waiters was a rude with us but we over looked maybe he was having a bad day. Seems like a nice atmosphere, might be back.

The Hutch is a nice place, and their patio was wonderful on a fall afternoon. Wife had a burger - she wasn't crazy about it compared to other places - I had BLT which was great and enormous! We should have shared. The fries are excellent too. Our servers did a great job and we enjoyed our meal.

I have not been there in a while and it appears they have made menu changes. This meal was at lunch time. I tried one of the several sandwiches that they added. I had a BLT, but it was much better than a normal BLT. It came with fries, but I opted for fruit. Fruit was great also. Service was wonderful. I made a reservation and it was a busy place. I look forward to going back for more.

My husband and I tried this place on a Saturday evening and very pleased with our experience. We started with the Quail for an appetizer and it was okay. The flavor was there, but it was a little tough trying to serve it and the bread was a little stale and some pieces were soggy. We wouldn't order it again. My husband got the pork chop special with a dijon cream and really liked it, but thought that the cabbage was a little off with it, but overall it was a good dish. I got the duck and it was very good and flavorful. We both got the Moscato to drink and it was very good. Our server was good and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The atmosphere is really nice and quiet if you want to have a chance to chat while dining. The prices are fair for what you get and everything come out fairly quickly. It was a good experience and we would recommend it and will most likely go back to try some of their other dishes.

Another fantastic business lunch. Food was amazing as usual and my business partner enjoyed the experience. We were able to have good business conversation. Perfect for a lunch meeting.
