They are trying very hard. Chicken is good and seasoned nicely but they need to work on extra crispy okra when requested. Onion rings weren't bad and the gravy was the perfect compliment.

If you like your food over cooked in old dirty oil, this is the place for you! Called my order in the lady on the phone was grumpy and almost rude. Got there to pick up the food and her demeanor was about the same. I have to say though that it looked like she was doing all the work. They should take lamb fries off the menu because they never have any when any of my friends call wanting to order some. My order went in the trash, wouldn't even feed that to my dog.

In today with my work crew for 1rst time since the change. Pleasantly surprised! Chicken strip lunch basket was huge, great mac n cheese + drink. Well worth $9.99. And our server Ryan was a cool cat!

This place was so cute. They don’t get enough credit. The staff is super friendly from the moment we walked in with the welcome ins to the second we walked out. Staff came around checking on everyone and asked how things were. I had mentioned I wanted my okra little bit browner and they made me a new order ! Witch I thought was great bc I didn’t expect that ! You don’t find service like this anymore. Local business owners. These people care. Give them a try. They even had Chalk and bubbles for the kids in their patio area!

Was a great place, I got the catfish basket for $11. Had 3 big fillets, fried okra, and curly fries. When got my food the server came and told me they had found a cold fry and they were gonna make me more Incase mine weren't totally hot. They all were totally hot and they still gave me the extra fries. It was really good!!

Tried catfish, most bland flavor ever. No salt , no pepper. No other seasoning to taste. Just cornmeal was very disappointed. Have had their chicken and it was pretty good. So it's a No on their fish!

If you like crispy fried chicken, then try this place!! Great portions, especially for the price! Great place to bring some family or friends have a cheap beer and some good food! The chicken fried steak my wife had was also amazing!
In from out of town. Got there at 5:30 PM when they’re supposed to close at 7:00 PM. Was told they had to close because they didn’t have enough customers. Told them I just drove 15 miles out of my way to come there. Was told “Sorry Sir”. I said that sucks!! Was told “You have a nice evening sir!” In a loud and sarcastic tone. I guess the chicken must be as bad as the customer service. I will not attempt to give them my business again. I suggest you do not either. Business practices like that get you out of business soon. Good. Get a good food place in there.

Rarely do I comment on Fried Chicken as it is rarely worth commentary. This is REALLY good fried chicken. Fried pie... mashed potatoes & gravy... mac & cheese... all notably good. Unfortunately, they really need to train up their counter help... the employee who was fairly disengaged cost you a five star today.

This is the second time for us, we think the chicken is great! Had okra, mac&cheese, and REAL mashed potatoes and gravy, it was delicious! I had a carry out order, ready when I got there in 20 minutes, still hot. Great service! Total was $36, but it was 4 meals. We will be back!
