Cute place and we heard the cinnamon rolls were good, so we thought we'd take the trip to visit for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were the ONLY thing that was good. The breakfast was expensive and nothing impressive. They charge almost $9 for eggs, hash browns and toast. And unlike most places you can't substitute toast for pancakes. Besides the bad taste of the eggs and hash browns, the 'biscuit'...it was like a roll! Not a biscuit at all :(. To me that was such a sad disappointment...I love my biscuits...so to be served this roll-like 'biscuit' was very disappointing. Our family wouldn't come back. **Oh...and 2 pieces of our wrapped 'new' silverware had food still on it. Which was totally disgusting and set a bad tone for the cleanliness

Used to love coming to the cafe back in the 90s and 2000's. It burned down in 2010. Recently went by. Food still good but not like it used to be.

My husband and I drove over from Edmond (Waterloo rd was quick). The breakfast was hot and delicious. Ham steak was very impressive. I had heard about the cinnamon rolls and was hoping for the old timey kind that you just don’t see anymore. Wow, they were out of this world! The cinnamon rolls are the heavy dough with yeast kind that smells heavenly. Just 30 seconds in the microwave and what a treat. The cafe sells the cinnamon rolls at the register at a very reasonable price or separately as a breakfast item.

Can’t speak to the food, as got the cinnamon rolls to go. We were greeted quickly and served promptly. Got an entire package for a reasonable price. Once heated up, they’re delicious traditional-style cinnamon rolls. Already made it through half a pan.
Really cute decor. Wish the food was as good. We ordered sweet tea but I have no idea what they did to it but it was nasty. The cheese on the sandwich was pre packaged singles. The gravy also seemed to be pre packaged too.
There’s a ton of historical photos on the walls. This made me curious on what the history was. I asked our waitress and she didn’t know anything. She was also just antisocial in general. No conversation whatsoever. Luckily, there was an old plaque that was featured in Discover Oklahoma in 2000. But that’s it.
The whole place was clean. This includes the bathrooms. But there was a noticeable bad smell despite the cans of Lysol.
Stop by here if you’re feeling lucky, and maybe you’ll get a better experience than me.

For all the bragging about their cinnamon rolls, I expected them to at least be better than the Walmart bakery, but it was like Walmart cinnamon rolls left on the counter for 3 days. Not great to begin with, and then left out to get so dry you need a pint of milk for every bite.
The main course was also dry. Dry enough to make you beg for Lazarus to bring a drop of water. You'd be better off getting food from the gas station, and it wouldn't hurt your pocketbook near as much.

We drove out from OKC with a friend for dinner. There were 3 of us. We each had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with white gravy, and green beans. We also had a trip to the salad bar, and they brought a basket of rolls & cinnamon rolls. The food is good and prices are reasonable. They had a menu with plenty of choices. The staff was attentive and the service was quick. We had been here before for cinnamon rolls to go. We will be back again for dining in.
