Absolutely amazing!!! Inside one of the older buildings in Okemah, Chef Remzi has an authintic feel and taste. The garlic bread with cheese was deliciously fresh with real garlic. The pasta sampler was perfect! Delicious sauce and quality ingredients! I believe I have found my dinner stop when I'm passing through Eastern Oklahoma!!!!!

A typical place with a lot of character, the food surprised us, very very rich and very good price, the truth is all excellent. It is a family site.

If you are headed East on 1-40, about an hour outside of OKC, stop by the City of Okemah - Home of Woody Guthrie - and try the food at Chef Remzi. Classic, authentic Italian food. We had Canneloni, Baked Ziti, Chicken Parmesan and pizza! It was truly homemade comfort food with amazing classic sauce. Plus, so affordable! The staff and chef were so friendly! Stop by and support this locally owned business!

What a hidden gem! We stopped by Okemah to check out WoodyFest and stumbled upon this amazing Italian restaurant right off of Main Street! The Strombolis were HUGE, and my son said the fettuccine Alfredo was the best he’s ever had. Our server was awesome, prices were good, and the chef even came out and said hello! Best Italian I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I’ve been to over 20 countries far and wide; I’ve eaten goat meat in the mountains of Albania, alligator in the swamps of Florida, mystery meat in the streets of Jamaica - I’ve never eaten at a more disgusting place than this place…. When I tell you it was awful, times that by 100x. We were in town for a convention, myself and two of my children stopped in for dinner. Took the waitress 900 years to wait on us; finally she came over after she finished her 30 min conversation with her friends. The whole place is extremely dirty, and altogether has a very strange feel. The kitchen door was standing wide open, and there was no screen door as another person on this thread mentioned. There were weird coolers all over the restaurant that they kept pulling food out of and sticking in microwaves. Lots of strange aspects that I sat there observing and I kept talking myself into believing that none of them were an issue… I told myself, once the food arrives, it will be worth it. Boy was I wrong! I’m not kidding, this was the most disgusting food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m normally the one in our household that can get through a bad meal and just tell everybody that the next place we stop at will be better. We each took one bite and spit it back out, I went up to the register and the waitress asked me what was wrong. I told her the food was inedible and the most disgusting horrid food I’ve ever eaten. She said I’m sorry, do you want your bill now. I was outraged that I was going to have to pay for food that we had not eaten. But she would not let it go, so I ended up paying over $60 for food that we not only did not eat, but was not even edible. The photo below is how we left our plates when we walked out. I honestly think the sauces were probably some knock off brand that were purchased at a dollar store or maybe a close out sale. The reason I say that, I’ve never before tasted sauces that had that sort of a metallic nasty twang to them.
The only reason I gave a 5-Star rating was that it was as high as I could go on the scale. The food and the service were 10-Star! Terri, our waitress, was most gracious and attentive. Marvelous service. Remzi, our chef, came to our table to insure that everything was satisfactory (it was!). Before dinner stop by Highway Liquor (ask for Helen cuz' she's a hoot) to buy a couple bottles of wine for dinner at Chef Remzi's Restaurant. This little restaurant is a hidden Oklahoma gem.

We really enjoy our dinner here, the food was delicious, the bread is perfect and we got free pizza just for being a decent human on a very busy night.
There is nothing like Chef in the entire state. The most unique experience anyone can have in Oklahoma when in comes to Italian food. He's definitely irreplaceable

This was said to a customer on behalf of chef from the new owner! I don’t appreciate someone speaking and been rude and talking down the chef! He been here and worked hard to get where he is! Everyone share this!
