Excellent BBQ-not too smoky. Delicious BBQ sauce, love the home made salad dressing, and their pizza is so good.

John's Bar-B-Q is a fantastic spot for delicious, authentic smoked meats and sides that melt in your mouth. The brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich are some of the best around. The turkey is praised as the best ever had, and the ribs are also noted for being REALLY good. A highlight is the loaded baked potato with brisket, which features chunks of tender, juicy brisket on a huge potato, topped with sour cream, green onions, and shredded cheese. The thin crust pizza is another favorite, generously loaded with ingredients. Customers also enjoy the baked beans and sweet tea. Open Thursday to Sunday, John's Bar-B-Q offers amazing hospitality and great food. The drive-thru pick-up window adds convenience for those in a hurry. With a lot of history and consistently delicious meals, it's an all-around great BBQ restaurant that travelers along I-40 should not miss.
