“Had an opportunity for breakfast out the other day and opted for the new Jimmy's Egg in Owasso.
Place is spotlessly clean and moderatly kitschy in a good sorta way.
Decent menu offering with a few things you don't ordinarily see. I landed on the meat lover's omelet, hash browns and biscuit and gravy.
Service was fast, friendly and often, keeping my coffee hot and topped off.
Food arrived very quickly, which worked since there were only a small handful of patrons at the time.
The omelet was good. I went with the proffered Monterey Jack cheese, which isn't always my favorite, but overall, it was a good omelet. Plenty of meat and the eggs weren't overcooked.
Hash browns were a little overcooked for my taste, but still pretty good. I like them a little thicker with a slight crunch on the outside and that steamy and velvety soft inside.
Biscuit was good sized with a decent serving of gravy. The gravy had a really good flavor, not bland at all. The biscuit was crunchy on the outside with light and fluffy on the inside.
Overall, a really good breakfast offering, one I would gladly visit again.“

“Is there anything more quintessentially American? This location on 2nd St in Owasso delivers exactly what you expect – and that's precisely why I keep coming back. It's not fancy, it's not trying to be. It's just good, honest food, cooked right in front of you, 24/7.
The Food: Let's be real, you know what you're getting at Waffle House. And that's a good thing! Fluffy waffles, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs (scrambled, over easy, you name it), and hashbrowns that can be customized every which way. I'm a big fan of the All-Star Special, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The beauty is in its simplicity and the ability to customize to your heart's content. Late-night cravings? Waffle House. Early morning hunger pangs? Waffle House. Need a quick, satisfying meal any time of day? You guessed it – Waffle House.
The Atmosphere: This is where the Waffle House experience really shines. The open kitchen, the sizzling of the grill, the clatter of plates – it's a symphony of breakfast (or lunch, or dinner!) being made. The staff is usually super friendly and engaging, often striking up conversations with customers. It's a community vibe, a place where you can chat with your neighbor or just enjoy the show. Yes, sometimes it's packed and you might have to wait a few minutes, and other times it's eerily quiet. But that's part of the charm! The unpredictable nature of the crowd adds to the unique Waffle House experience.
The Service: Generally, the service is quick and efficient, even when they're busy. The cooks are masters of multitasking, flipping burgers and waffles with impressive speed. The waitresses are usually friendly and attentive, making sure your coffee cup is never empty. I've only had a couple of minor hiccups with service over numerous visits, and they were always quickly resolved.
The Location: For me, the convenience is a huge plus. This location on 2nd St is easily accessible and usually just a short drive away. Knowing I can always count on Waffle House for a good meal, no matter the time of day, is incredibly comforting.
Overall: Waffle House isn't fine dining, and it doesn't pretend to be. It's a classic American diner that delivers consistent, satisfying food in a unique and often entertaining atmosphere. It's a place where you can get a good meal, a friendly chat, and a taste of Americana, all at a reasonable price. While it might not be a five-star gourmet experience, it's a solid four stars for what it is – a reliable, always-open, and genuinely enjoyable place to grab a bite. I'll definitely be back – probably sooner rather than later!“

“This is the best ihop I’ve ever been to! All of our food was so fresh and served hot. The veggie omelet had fresh mushrooms (not canned) and cherry tomatoes, the other veggies were great too! The sourdough bread was toasted perfectly, the butter was precisely balanced with salt, the avocado was the perfect ripeness. So so good. Service was also wonderful by Allie. Restaurant was very clean. Thank you IHOP Catoosa for such a great experience.“

“Came to OK from Texas to visit our brother and he suggested The Big Biscuit - let me just say, it did not disappoint! The hostess greeted us with a smile, the atmosphere was welcoming and we were seated in a timely manner.
Maggie was our server and she was amazing! My daughter has a lot of allergies and Maggie gave us menu options for her to eat as well as made the kitchen aware. So thankful for that because not many places take into consideration of these things.
Food was delicious! Would 100% recommended the Sticky Biscuit.
I got The Ranchero which I loved and my daughter got the potatoes and fresh fruit.
My husband got the Alamo (full of flavor and huge burrito)
My brother got the Big Breakfast and loved it!
All portions were fulfilling! We will definitely be coming back!“
