Just drove the mile and half off the highway for nothing. The office/ thruft shop is closed and the workers that were visible did not acknowledge me or address when when I attempted to get their attention. Instead just went about their day. The hours posted reflect 9 to 5 Mon thru Fri. It's 110 on Fri. Totally a waste of time

I am from the country, south of Paul's Valley. (Driskill family) I LOVED Fields pies! As time passed, I ended up in Lamar, Colorado. Imagine my surprise and happiness when I found the Fields pecan pies at Thrift Way Grocery! Lived there 22 years and enjoyed the pies, a taste of home! Now, I'm in Missouri and everytime, I come that way, I stop at Fields. My son does, ))too!

Looks like the pies are amazing. I got here at 5:55pm on a Monday and they were closed. I saw their billboard ten miles back on the interstate and decided to try it. BUT I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT THE BILLBOARD DOES NOT SHOW THEIR HOURS OF OPERATIONS. After detouring 10 minutes off the interstate, I saw a closed up shop. They're only open M-F from 9am to 5pm. If they made the investment to put up a billboard, then why not state when you're open or why not stay open just a little longer. Frustrating.

My parents lock me in my room until 5pm(except for two 5 minute bathroom breaks and on Sunday for Church PRAISE JESUS). wish I could try it.

We bring pecans here all the time, really great people, there is over night parking for one maybe two trucks.

Great pies in this place. Also you can get the crust by itself if you want to try some recipes for yourself. I made a great cobbler with the stuff and people would pay me just to make one for them. Crazy good. Try it and can fake it till you make it.
