The place was full when we got there. However, we were seated fast. We got our order taken in a timely manner. We ordered a ribye steak dinner and chicken fry steak dinner with loaded baked potatoes. We were both very impressed with the taste of our steak! The waitress was great, she knew when we needed our tea refilled. Definitely a place to return to for more meals!!! The breakfast meals I saw sure looked delicious!!! I'm going to have to try those soon.

Our group stopped by this location on our way to Kansas City. While there weren’t many dining options in the area, we chose this spot after leaving another location due to an unpleasant experience. There are certainly opportunities for improvement here. The food, for example, could benefit from fresher oil, and the atmosphere would feel more welcoming if the staff were more engaged. Additionally, the restroom cleanliness could be addressed for a better guest experience.
However, I’m giving five stars because I believe all of these are areas that can be improved with some attention and care. With the right adjustments, this place has the potential to be much more inviting for future guests.

Food is decent, nothing special. The place is dated, but I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger and was told I’d be charged extra to get bbq sauce with it…. Ketchup mustard and mayo were available but no bbq sauce unless I paid more. The gals working in there were friendly, but the owner was different. I was unimpressed with him being on the phone, at the register while I was settling up my ticket, with the electric company and telling them he needed to pay his overdue bill before they shut his power off. Super tacky and unprofessional. I won’t go back. A burger next door at sonic is better and they’ll give me bbq sauce without the extra charge.

Food was average for a diner, but basically exactly what I expected. The service was phenomenal and our server was extremely patient. The atmosphere was very relaxed and felt authentic. Great place to stop with the family to eat.

Place is decorated as cute as can be.Friendly waitresses. My husband loved the eggs Benedict. Gravy and pancakes were excellent but tasted like the hashbrowns and eggs were cooked in old grease so therefore they had a rancid taste. The Womens bathroom was just nasty dirty everywhere! Stained stools and walls haven't been cleaned in a long while.

Service was decent. The hostess was the only waitress. The food was awful. Meatloaf, I can't even describe it. It was disgusting. The mashed potatoes were cold, bland, and very lumpy. I had more gravy than potatoes. Fried green tomatoes were hard as a rock in the middles. Sadly, this place has gone downhill. This was our 2nd visit, It's been years since our first visit, and I remember it being so good. Now I don't think we will be back after spending almost $60 for horrible food.
