Fair warning it's a lot spicier than expected, but otherwise it's great food.
Dietary restrictions: If u have paprika or pepper allergy, I don't recommend this place.

The lunch special (chicken fajitas) were very flavorful, and the veggies were grilled perfectly. A good-sized portion for a special.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Chips were stale. Carne Asada was tough and full of fat. Meat tasted like it hadn’t been seasoned. Very disappointing meal.

The man that waited on me was incredibly rude and came across as didn't care at all about us. 4 Budweiser's chips and salsa 24.00. Also decided to turn on music very loud rap. So loud we could not talk very bad we are very upset

Food is above average. The queso is good. The chicken is tough. The chips are hard instead of light and crispy. Our waiter spoke too fast and too softly to understand. The music playing was nice, but it was a little loud for the soft spoken waiter. We were able to talk and hear fine amongst ourselves at the table.

Not impressed with the strawberry daiquiri I was served. Could not taste any alcohol or strawberry flavor, as it tasted watered down. The server would not fix it, as she stated I drank too much of it and management would not allow that. Also the long island tea ordered at the table was watered down as well. Food was great. Don't waste your money on the "cocktails"

Face it, it's just hard to find great Mexican food in Oklahoma! El Jalisco was good not great in taste. Not a ton of flavors, but not bad tasting either. Their jalapeno salsa helped a lot. The other salsa is weak. I had the combo with beef enchilada, taco and tamale. The tamale was pretty good the others bland. My wife had a chicken taco salad and said that the chicken was good and plentiful. Atmosphere is really very good considering it's in such a small town. Service was pretty good as well. I just feel like good Mexican food is so hard to find because good Mexican chefs are afraid of putting flavor and spices into their food since most of their customers are Gringo's. This place has all the elements of being a fantastic restaurant if they would turn it up a notch in the kitchen. I will be back and try something different and hopes of this being a one-off.
