The only exsperance I had with this business is. I from out of town. I was planning to order my grand babies some cookies and have delivered to them. They live approximately 6 miles away from this business just north of Poteau. I was talking to them about this and was going to order cookies from them. I could hear someone in the background saying we’re not doing it for nothing it’s going to cost them $20. I wasn’t expecting them to do it for nothing. I was going to buy the cookies from them to. The person I could hear in the background was someone that definitely doesn’t need to be in business. I went and bought some cookies somewhere else and shipped them and saved $10. So I won’t be buying or ordering anything from there for sure. I will be buying cakes, cookies and anything else from Walmart or Price cutter definitely not there for sure.

Dee the owner has been doing what she does for longer than I have been alive which is 36 years. So she has the knowledge and experience. Hands down best bakery in poteau! Love this place! She has the best donuts, cookies, cakes, bread, and she also does catering! If you haven't been here yet go check them out! If you are just passing through or visiting you have to give this place a try. ALSO ORDER A STRAWBERRY DELIGHT! YOU WILL THANK ME!

I ordered special cupcakes and sugar cookies I ordered these items a month ahead of time and hour before my time to pick up I was told they were decorating them then we'll an hour and a half later when I went in nothing was done I had to take cupcakes that weren't my design I wanted and the sugar cookies I got were bland and no taste and so dry I DONT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE
Bought 2 good cakes but bought an egg custard pie it was pitched in trash terrible will not buy anything there again.

I love this small business so much. I went here all the time after school when I was younger. It gives me nostalgia whenever I go here today. The cookies are always really good, and I've also gotten a few birthday cakes from here which were the best in town. I hope you are all doing okay during these times.

We booked a birthday party with Skate Reation in Poteau this weekend and they include a birthday cake from Cakes & More in the party package.. we chose a frozen themed cake kit and upgraded to a half sheet for a little extra and chose whipped frosting on white cake.. but it was literally one of the bests cakes we’ve ever had! It was so moist and light, everyone at the party was impressed with how good it was! We will definitely be ordering all our custom cakes from Cakes & More in the future!
