3 rd time is not a charm. I always try and give grace, because everyone has bad days. I can now say it is consistent with slightly warm food, temp wise and slow service. The last time which was last night sealed the deal. We were told to seat ourselves, waited over 10 minutes to have anyone come to the table. Ordered. Waited 30 plus minutes for our food to not even have the correct order. We did not want to wait another 30 minutes for food. What is sad is the manager/owner gave us a 10% off next dine in on the first bad experience. We have not even used it. Tried to give them a fair shot.
The Best! Food & Drinks! Love the owner, he is so nice!
Hands down, this is the best authentic Mexican restaurant within a 100-mile radius—no question. You simply can’t beat the flavor, the portions, or the price. Every single dish is packed with bold, unforgettable flavor, and you can tell Juan and his family have poured their hearts into every detail. They’re always finding ways to elevate the experience and make every guest feel like family. Let’s talk drinks: Juan makes the best Patrón Margarita I’ve ever had—no contest. He and his wife consistently go above and beyond to make each visit memorable and personal. It’s uncommon to find that kind of care these days. Also house margs are only $2 every Tuesday and Thursday! My go-to orders? Easy: street tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Birria tacos, Birria quesadilla, chicken fajita nachos, tortas, Pirate Arroz, carnitas, burritos—you name it. Honestly, there hasn’t been a single item I’ve tried that I didn’t love. Also kids under 12 y/o eat free after 3pm every Wednesday. And don’t even get me started on the rice—it’s perfect every time. Never dry, always flavorful. They have an amazing free salsa bar—and this isn’t your bland, store-bought filler. Every salsa brings its own fire and flavor. You have to try the Black Jalapeño salsa but it is a little spicy. And here’s the kicker: if Juan’s around and there’s something you’re craving that’s not on the menu, he’ll do his best to make it happen—as long as they’ve got the ingredients and things aren’t slammed. That kind of service is rare. Huge supporters of Veterans! Carajillos shows real appreciation. They offer a 10% discount and actually go out of their way to honor us on Veterans Day. It’s not just lip service—they mean it. Flavor, value, warmth, and innovation—Carajillos delivers it all. This is, without a doubt, my favorite place to eat. Always will be.
Great Food! Great service!
This place is the most authentic anywhere. Compare to Tijuana (the city in Mexico) or Cabo ...

The food is good. At the same level as the rancher in Panama, or almost the orchard...
The mixed fajitas are my favorite in all those places
They are tasty and the portion is good

Reasonably priced food and mixed drinks. The help yourself condiments bar is a plus. Big place, so always room, no reservations needed.
Parking: Plenty of parking. If busy, there is a grass lot right behind the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: There were several kids and family present the times I visited.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp into the restaurant. There is plenty of room to navigate through the facility.

Total disappointment, ordered takeout grilled chicken salad for the wife and beef fajitas for me. The lettuce was wilted in her salad and they gave us a crunchy beef taco instead of the soft shredded chicken one we ordered. The fajitas were the worst I ever had, when I went to eat it was in watery juice. Could not tell if it was bell peppers or stewed tomatoes. They tasted like beef stew anyway. Also they did not give any tortillas for them. They did not include napkins or eating utensils. If I was eating it there I would have told them to take it back and would have gone somewhere else to eat. I wish I could get a refund.

Absolutely stellar! I had the enchiladas Jalisco and my daughter had the shrimp quesadilla. Both were fantastic and you absolutely have to try the guacamole sauce from the taco bar, if they sold it I'd of come home with all they had LOL.
