When I first tried coffee cup I felt like I found my coffee spot. For months now the service has been sub par and my drink orders are wrong over half the time. I tried to get a drink today with an added shot and it always tastes like my coffee is watered down.. I just spent $10 and laughed at myself wondering why I keep spending my money here. I’m sorry to say but I will not be coming here any longer.

Stopped in today for a coffee and ended up getting a scramble as well. Both were great along with the service and conversation. I camped out for a bit to work on my computer and enjoyed the open area where I didn’t feel packed in or surrounded by others. Wasn’t super noisy so I was able to be pretty productive before heading out. Certainly will be back the next time I’m in town.
Appreciate the hospitality!

Great coffee shop with lots of food options. I got an iced skinny vanilla latte and the lemon blueberry cake. The cake was so good! I also enjoyed the latte. The breakfast sandwiches looked delicious.

This place is a GEM! Great food made fresh and a very good latte made from A2 milk!. Very friendly. NICE bathrooms. Their building is beautiful and the covered outdoor eating area has SWINGS! When we happened by here after watching the Great American Eclipse, they had a one-woman band in the corner playing blues on an electric guitar very SOUL-fully. It might be a semi-regular thing, so call and ask about it. We will come back to eat here whenever we are in the area!
Vegetarian options: I think this would not be a great place for vegans but it can work for lacto-ovo-vegetarians, especially for a small town in Oklahoma. Several of their dishes that COULD have been lacto-ovo-vegetarian had bacon added. That made me sad, but we could order some meat-free stuff and added "a la carte" avocado to round out the calories and fat content. We also eat chicken and fish so we had good sandwich options.

I am happy to have found this spot. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, the portions were great, and the prices affordable. The building looks large from the outside, but this is a small and cousy place where one orders at the counter and the food is brought to the table. It is not loud and is an excellent place to meet clients or have coffee with friends. The café is inviting and has plenty of parking.
Parking: Large parking lot; I drove in mid day and was able to park in front of the building with easy access for the elderly.

I've loved The Coffee Cup for the last several years! Their coffee is SUPERB and not expensive, either! Their breakfast sandwiches are crave-worthy!! And I've never had rude or bad servers there, so my FIVE STARS are indeed worthy of this special place in the town of Poteau OK‼️

Super expensiveHadc3 sandwiches and smoothies. Cost $54. Ouch. Bread was soggy. Turkey sliced so thin and barely any on. Mostly just bread. Disappointed!
