This food was nasty. i only ate one enchilada and have the rice half the crispy taco. the beef tasted nasty. waitress asked if i enjoyed my dinner and i honestly answered her no. the food was nasty. They really need another cook and check the food before it goes out

It's been a while since we were there, early January 2025. We are from out of town and didn't get done at a business down the road until most everything was closed. We got gas a Murphy gas station and figured we'd give this place a shot. Bad idea! My GF ended up with food poisoning and was sick as a dog. While we won't likely go there again simply due to where we actually live but I would definitely be VERY careful eating here.

A solid authentic Mexican restaurant.
The food is good enough, that I would recommend the restaurant to a friend. Clean comfortable attractive interior. Very good service. Large menu. The salsas are decent; order the salsa picante. The Guacamole was delicious, but likely factory made. For me a relleno and a taco. The taco shell was a little over toasted. A minor complaint. My wife had a simple steak burrito, packed end to end with tender flavorful steak. No significant criticisms of either meal.
Of the Mexican restaurants I have tried in Pryor, Pueblo Viejo is at the top of my list. Give Pueblo Viejo a try.

Wow! Blown away by this hidden gem! Pueblo Viejo has the best flavor in Pryor and its surroundings. Made an order by phone and everything was excellent and delicious. I really enjoyed the Tilapia a la Diabla, cooked to perfection with a side of salad and great rice. Keep up the good work. Will come back and try more food for sure.
