Great food, great service large portions. I left there very full. I saw the biggest chicken fried steak Sandwich I have ever seen in my 54 years of life.And I've been around LOL.Kid-friendliness: It's very homie there you are made to feel welcome.

The burger was delicious. The okra left much to be desired. Anything that had been fried, okra, onion rings, etc. were terribly overcooked. They had been extremely busy with a bike group prior to our arrival. The staff was friendly and worked very hard.

The last two times I went to Dawn's the food made me sick, don't know if the grease they cooked it in needs changed or what's wrong. Yesterday the chicken fried steak, okra and fried dill pickles were seriously overcooked. Don't like paying $45.00 for something not fit to eat! Out of the whole meal the only thing good was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Won't be back!
